Vince wrote a quick tribute for Savage in the current TIME issue, only 180 words.

To sum it up...

Savage was a building block of WWE (former WWF), he knew you had to be bigger than life and people will always remember his outfits and his speaking voice. He had a big head, but that's what you need to make it with guys like Hulk Hogan. Called him one of the best of all-time.
