Cabana cancelled his remaining indy bookings and is not taking future bookings. Something is up.

Punk probably signed some sort of short term extension, or an agreement to work the next couple of TV's or something. Id actually be pretty shocked if he resigned long term already.

Sin Cara is a moron. Just started and already violating the wellness policy. He's fired by years end. Bank on it.

          LOL if this is true.

          He sucks anyway. So overrated.

Sidenote-poor Averno, Mistico will be dead & buried before the guy even shows up. Maybe Averno will end up getting over stronger aka TAKA/Great Sasuke.

If he did sign a long term deal, it probably includes a bit where he can take some time off as it seems that is what he wants.

Either way, he surely has signed an extension or has an agreement to work for another month or so or even through SummerSlam.

And I do believe something is up with Colt Cabana...it seems one of the issues he has, per the GQ article is when he is on the road, he really has no one to ride with (psychological analysis...maybe that is why he shacks up with a Batista-like number of divas?)...signing his buddy to a random deal wouldn't be a bad move.

I've always thought that there was no reason why Colt couldn't be Santino or some incarnation of.

He is pretty awful in the WWE.

              Can't talk.
              Botchfest.
Needs to be incredibly compensated for at all levels.

Hate to say "I told you so"...but yeah, Mistico has been a big botched signing so far. He sucks.

The only + has been the ability to move the Sin Cara replica masks.

Like I said when they signed him...what got him over in CMLL is not the same as what gets you over in the U.S. His charisma doesn't translate. Might as well give Evan Bourne the special lighting and the mega push because he's more dynamic anyway.

SCOTTY GOLDMAN was the key factor in getting Punk back.

You can see some of his Mexican charisma come through at times, but that isn't what gets over in the States...last night's ladder match, for example. The stuff he was doing works in Mexico (the excitement of being the last man in the ring and the dash to get a ladder)...barely noticed in the States though.

It would be like plopping John Cena in Arena Mexico or Randy Orton in Koruken Hall and just expecting them to be over because they are over here. Its not that easy.

                          Punk tweeted this after midnight...

                          "“@WWEUniverse: It's 12:00 a.m. ... Do you know where your WWE Champion is? #MITB @CMPunk” The champ is...here: yfrog.com/kkb09zyj"

Pretty sure Punk signed an extension at the very least, if not an actual contract, otherwise, they wouldn't give him the title. Probably signed Cabana as a result, considering that interview pretty much said Punk has no friends in the WWE (lol).
                          Yes, that was Steel.

I'm not sure about them bringing in Cabana but Meltzer said last week he told promoters he was not taking any more bookings than what he has scheduled now.

Pretty much, the line was almost out of the door for the shirts.

When was the last time the WWE had a program that put the title on that high of a pedestal.

They actually made the title relevant and important.
