I literally spit out soda when I read Melina was denied entry into the building at RAW. She should have laid low for a while before traveling with Morrison, it only makes him look bad. Of course, nothing makes you look worse than Batista plowing your GF and you doing nothing about it. He should do a cuckold gimmick.

My faint prediction.

Punk loses, obviously. Probably Mr. H's costs him the title somehow.

In the following week or weeks, Punk and Mr. H's have a brief feud, but ultimately, Mr. H's is going over, and its probably going to be on RAW, where he basically beats the fuck out of Punker with the sledge.

Punk takes a vacation.

Punk, through all of greatness...the promos, the 5-star match, slight viral campaign that was next level shit (although, only lasted a week lol), the lead up to Summerslam...

...was just there to put over HHH.

Fuck.

I expect HHH to cost Punk the belt.

They will feud (in the Austin/McMahon mold) but there's no way they put HHH over Punk at this point.

He's not even a full-time wrestler anymore. I expect him to be a heel anyway.

Going to do 30-40 minute interviews and yeah you'd be a fascinating subject because of the scope of your wrestling fandom and the list is really awesome too so yeah, please do fill it out. One thing to note is it's not really a radio show. if you listen to the first show you can get an idea of the format it's more or less you and I talking about wrestling and me interviewing you about when you became a fan, your early wrestling memories, etc.

Shocking fact of the day that I just read in the WO:

The largest audience that watches RAW is....Males 50+.

The problem, is these people (much like the same 1.2M people who watch TNA every week) do not spend any money on the product, and likely never will.

If I were in charge of the WWE, I would get the marketing people together with the creative side, and put together a plan to attempt to squeeze money from these people. They are watching anyway, will keep watching no matter what, and there has to be a way to squeeze $50 from them a few times per year or get them to buy a DVD now & then.

Doesn't surprise me. i don't think it will happen. They might sign some great tag team talent and start to put pieces together. But so long as Vince is still the final say, I expect he'll KO it before it actually happens. At the end of the day, the WWE product is really still aimed at a one-man audience - Vince. And he don't like tag teams much.

I do hold out some hope for the day that Triple H actually does take over. I think Trips is "old school" enough that the WWE might get back some aspects it had abandoned. So long as he's not still wrestling at that point, because an active wrestler doing the booking is rarely a good idea.

I've said it for years, that HHH the performer bores the fuck out of me, but that he is also the only person at this point who can realistically save wrestling. Steph's ideas are even more wacked out than Vince's, and like her dad she has a complete lack of knowledge of anything that worked outside her bubble. HHH respects the business and has a sense of history. He is the best case scenario for change.

Honestly, this is why I'm not too upset Shane left. While I think he's saner than Stephanie about this stuff, putting HHH in the position that Shane likely would've had will likely mean a better product.

He's proven that he has a good mind for the business. It'll be interesting to see where things go from here.
