I am just watching this now and it inspired me to come here to see if anyone had seen it (obviously you have). Some seriously fucked up poop. And they weren't kidding about the real life version of "The Wrestler".

Ravin - felt exactly the same way.

      Could not believe it.

I agree with XPac. How thehell do you send Hall out there like that as a promoter?

Just really fucking sad what happened to him. "How long until te guys dies and we get a hueg W2B write up"? Was all I was thinking the entire time. Hopefully his kid makes it though.

The promoter is in an extremely tough spot.

He paid Hall so what are his decisions. Pay him and not send him out, pissing the fans off and hurting future business.

Not really IMO. I think it'd hurt business more to have Hall out there all fucked up and actually try and put on a match.

          Whatevs.

Was it ever confirmed that he paid himup front? I know Hall asked for money as soon as he got off the plane but did the story say he was paid?

I remember when BigBiss said something like 95% of people in the wrestling industry are bad news. If Scott was paid up front, then I can't really fault the promoter considering the environment TBH.

Promoters at that level are dirtbags. They'll book anyone who can sell a few more tickets, but even more than that, most of these guys are marks who get off on having big names on their poster.

                Not sure if serious?

Now people know who this guy is...his promotion...he was on ESPN...etc. Business surely picked up for this scummer after this.

Most wrestlers and those around the biz are carny-scumbags...its the business, bruh

When Junkyard Dog was at his lowest, he would work indy shows for crack. And would get booked. Think about that.

The local promoters are big time scumbags, for sure. A mere level of up from a pedophile on the scummer scale.

I don't think there's anyway he could have known ESPN was doing a story on this at the time...?

Maybe it's just me but I'm not really sure how seeing a clearly fucked up Scott Hall would make me want to come back to a show of his.

You are not of the "GenPop" to which attends events like this.

If you bought a ticket to see Scott Hall, and he doesn't appear, you feel like you were bait & switched and might not ever go to a show promoted by that promoter again.

The promoter isn't protecting Hall's rep, he's protecting his own. It's a tough call to make, because I can tell you right now Hall isn't giving back that money if you tell him to go home.

                              Exactly.

I'm not saying it's the right thing to do at all, but these local shows live and die by wheeling out the carcasses of past stars and getting you to pay to get another look at Koko B. Ware and Simon Diamond.

If Scott Hall is advertised and paid and in the building, he's going out there even if its for 2 minutes.
