It's pathetic that if you want to watch an actual wrestling match, there is less than zero reason to watch Raw. Not even a single logical reason.

I'd love to see the breakdown of how much EVERYTHING takes between the actors, crew, editing, advertising, etc for WWE Films to crank out unbelievably shitty movie after unbelievably shitty movie. VS. how much those trash movies make in limited release theaters for 3 weeks and 10 braindead Walmart shoppers buying "that Randy Orton movie". It's gotta be a GIGANTIC loss.
Also, who the FUCK wants to see a Big Show and wife cooking show? Even McMahon and Co have to know by now that while THEY don't consider themselves a wrestling business, that 18-49 year old women would never be caught dead getting WWE Network or getting it's cooking advice from it. It's going to bring in kids, and people like myself who are looking for nostalgia. 21+ year old, male wrestling fans have plenty of time to learn how to cook on their own. And the ones younger don't give a shit. It would get A viewer I'm guessing, in Stephanie McMahon. The camera crew will be robots.

Wrestling legend Kamala just posted a video message online from his hospital bed, claiming one of his legs has been surgically removed ... but the Ugandan Giant insists, "I'm blessed. I'm alive."
According to reports, the amputation was a medically necessary procedure due to complications from high blood pressure and diabetes.
Kamala seems in good spirits in the video, saying, "I only lost my leg, not my life."Comment

That happend to my Dad. It doesn't end well. I'd give him 2 years if he's lucky and takes care of himself, 2 months if he doesn't. You have to screw up a lot to get to that point, so I'd take him in the "next wrestler to die" pool.

Pretty crazy how aside from Rock/Cena, JR vs Cole gets more attention and thought than any other program in the company. And it will not only never draw a dollar, but it's not remotely entertaining.Comment

The ending to RAW was ridiculously stupid.
What is the hook to buy the PPV? We already saw Rock for free. We already saw Rock and Cena work together and bicker for free. We already saw them kick Miz's and Truth's ass for free.
There is absolutely no reason to buy the PPV for that match.

As much as I'd hate not seeing Ziggler, Punk and Awesome Truth, RAW is really wack now. I'm going to start watching Smackdown.

I kept switching to Raw for 5 seconds, seeing Rock wasn't on, and switching righr back to NHL/MNF. I just gotta say, I really do love the Rock coming back twice a year, coming to the ring, taking a giant shit on Cena's character that everyone hates, and then leaving to do more mediocre films. It's really awesome. He accomplishes more in 5 minutes than 85% of the company does all year. The aim line was pretty good, no idea if that was him or the writers though. And Boston really hates the shit out of Cena. That's good. Now, to not watch a second of Raw for the rest of the year.

Friend of mine was at the last Raw taping. He's a bit over-emotional over it, but here's his take on something that happened...
Okay so there were many reasons to be excited about going to see RAW tonight... the Rock returning to action... Mick Foley coming back... it being a super show meaning all the top draws were there... CM Punk being awesome...
... but all that paled in comparison to what happened after the cameras went off.
After sighing about how Awesome Truth got buried at the end of RAW, the show ended and Mark Henry's music hit and he came out to join Miz and Truth for a 6 man tag match Dark Main Event.
CM Punk came out to join Cena's team. Orton followed.
As Punk got to the ring he intentionally crotched himself on the ropes and sold it by hanging like a corpse with his limbs all limp throughout all of Orton's entrance. Orton gave him a 'what the fuck are you doing?' look and Punk started bouncing up and down on the rope and pretending it was a horse as Orton did his posing in the ring.
My friends and I were lukewarm about the match... Henry + Awesome Truth vs Punk Cena and Orton? Nothing bad but nothing to write home about either.
My friend Jamie got my attention and started chanting "We Want Ryder!!"
I joined him and eventually so did our entire row. Our chant spread as the match started until our whole section chanted it. Then another section. Then another.
Finally, the whole arena was chanting "We Want Ryder!" VERY loudly. I'd dare say it was louder than the pop the Rock fucking got during the show.
Cena and Henry kinda looked around in disbelief as ppl chanted. Punk held up a hand and motioned "One sec!" and quickly ran backstage.
We kept the Ryder chants going as the match continued without Punk. Suddenly we heard Zack's music hit and the place went NUTS.
Punk ran out with Ryder, still in his street clothes from earlier in the show and dragged him to the ring. Ryder ran into the ring and he and Punk talked to the ref, after which Ryder went to the baby faces corner and we all cheered. They didnt announce anything but after that he was officially part of the match.
Orton got super pissy about Ryder being there. Ryder got tagged in and Orton was visibly upset as he kept getting offense, lmao. Orton never ended up getting tagged in actually, and after the match he fucked off and stormed up the ramp without celebrating with the other faces.
Ryder ended up getting to hit The Miz with the Rough Ryder to win the match. We all went nuts and his theme music played and Punk and Cena lifted him up and celebrated with him.
Punk rolleld away while Ryder and Cena posed i nthe ring and brought Zack a microphone. He talked with Punk for a bit and Punk and Cena both clapped for him and motioned like 'it's your moment kid' and left him alone in the ring.
Zack got on the mic and was audibly VERY emotional. He said 38 weeks ago he made a silly internet show expecting one of two things to happen: He'd get noticed or he'd get fired.
He said thanks to fans like us he got noticed. He's been on TV every week and the ppl backstage are paying attention to him. He got choked up and thanked us for chanting for him and how he can't even believe he just wrestled a match with Orton Cena and Punk at the end of a show and how much that meant to him.
He said that everyone in the audience who stayed for the match was a Broski of the Week. He said a bunch more thank yous and his music hit again and he hit each corner while we chanted "Ryder" at him.
I gotta say, that was the coolest thing that happened in the entire show. Fuck the Rock, this kid worked his ass off to make his dreams come true and he fucking did it. That was the coolest thing I've ever seen and I'm going to cherish that memory for my entire life as a fan of this sport.S.P.Q.A.
