What will the WWE name Danielson and McGuinness?
I feel sorry for both of those guys, because odds are they become Colt Cabanas. My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

I'm not sure they are comparable.
Danielson had mad MMA-style wrestling, that'll go over well and they'll attempt to push him.
As far as Colt vs. Nigel. Take a guess at which the WWE would like better.
That doesn't do Nigel much justice, but he's a pretty big/muscular guy. He's not all that tall, in fact I stood next to him and was about the same height but he just has a more WWE look then Colt ever did/would.Comment

According to Pwinsider.com, former TNA Knockouts champion Angelina Love has been released by TNA. The reason for the release is that there was some form of issue with her work visa either expiring or not being properly renewed. Love has been working under the visa that she was issued when she got her WWE developmental deal. Due to her not having the proper paper work, TNA was said to have their hands tied, since they cannot legally use her without the proper paperwork complete.
It will be interested to see how TNA handles the situation, as Angelina Love and Velvet Sky had advanced to the finals of the Knockouts tag title tournament, which will conclude at the No Surrender PPV. Love and Sky, forming The Beautiful People, have been the top heel act on the Knockouts division since they formed their alliance.Originally posted by 411Wrestling- TNA has removed Angelina Love from their roster page.
- For those wondering, when it comes to the work Visa, the person applying has to make sure the basic work is done, which includes making sure you have enough money to support yourself, having a US sponsor and having a company that will employ you legally in the US. Sources say that TNA has been waiting for Love to get her issues resolved, but when push came to shove, their hands were tied.
- Also, in a correction from yesterday, Love is not working under her Visa that was granted when she got her WWE Developmental deal. That Visa would have been canceled when her contract with WWE was terminated.

She hasn't destroyed a newly formed division but she put a dent in it seeing as there aren't many female heel tag teams in TNA.Comment

Women's wrestling blog site Diva-Dirt.com is reporting that TNA president Dixie Carter recently issued a mandate to strictly hire 'beautiful women'. It was noted that while she is solely interested in hiring
'beautiful women', she wants women who can actually wrestle.
As reported earlier, former WWE Diva Kristal Marshall is expected to join the promotion in the near future. TNA officials also have their sights set on another former Diva, that being Candice Michelle.
Michelle's name has been discussed in recent weeks in regards to bringing her in. She was released from WWE on June 17, 2009, shortly after being cleared to return to the ring. Hence, her ninety-day no-compete clause is set to expire two weeks from now.Comment

So you are happy seeing the same guys who sunk with WCW a decade ago trying to carry TNA now? Rather than see TNA build some new stars to carry the promotion in the next decade? I don't care how long the storyline has run so much as these old names are not building new stars. You could probably argue that Matt Morgan has benefited a bit of late, but other than that, who has moved up the card due to some role in the storyline?
Look back on the lessons taught by WCW. The nWo was awesome... yet it was also part of WCW's downfall, because they didnt' use it to build new stars and they couldn't move away from the formula. Given that there are so many on the TNA roster who were part of WCW near the end, I find that very ironic...Comment

STFU, Sting, Booker, Steiner... Those WCW guys killed WCW? Russo? That the guy your talking about? You dont see AJ Styles getting pushed again? Hernadez getting a push? Homicide was just X division champ. As was Suicide. Eric Young? Doug Williams? Beer Money, Joe and Daniels for the X division title? Watch TNA, dont suck Vince's cock and act like you do.
First off, I bash on the E. A lot. Moreso than TNA. But thank you for assuming.
I never said that Sting, Booker, or Steiner killed WCW. Or Jarrett. I didn't even claim that Nash and Russo did. Those two played a role in the process, however. And the rest were there when it happened. When a promotion with a ton of talent - some great young wrestlers and a bunch of veterans - kept the veterans at the top too long and that was one of many issues that drove fans away. That killed a promotion that should have been unkillable. I just find it odd that TNA is making some of the same mistakes that WCW given that some of the same people are involved.
I don't watch TNA looking for things to bitch about. I assume you wont' believe that, because you've clearly made up your mind about things. But I can't but look at the MEM storyline and feel that things parallel WCW a bit.
My complaint is that the MEM storyline has run nearly a year and has yet to really truly build any new stars. Which is actually part of the problem that the nWo storyline had. That seems like it should be a major goal of such an overriding storyline that consists of well-known veterans nearing the end of their careers. But that is not what it is being used for. If Morgan's push is sustained, then he would probably be the first.
You point out AJ Styles. Given that he was a TNA Grand Slam champion and three-time world champion for them (NWA belt, but still) before the MEM storyline started, I fail to see how this has elevated him. Same with Joe.
Hernandez is getting a push. It good to see. But much like Homicide, Beer Money Inc, and almost everyone else you mentioned, they have nothing to do with the MEM. They have not been elevated by being involved in that particular storyline.
Let me put it this way - if the entire Main Event Mania, plus Sting and Foley, all retired tomorrow, who does TNA have that they could legitimately main event? Styles and Joe, who were already at that level. Morgan, maybe. Who else? The names you mentioned - Hernandez, Homicide, Beer Money, etc - are all not yet there. This kind of major storyline is the perfect opportunity for TNA to build that next group of stars up. And they are not doing it.Comment
