TNA fugged up when they didn't properly push Joe, AJ, Christopher Daniels, Monty Brown, amongst a slew of other "home grown" talents waaaaaay before the MEM showed up.
Before the MEM feud, it was Jeff Jarrett holding everybody down.
And in between JJ and the MEM they never took anyone to that next level. They basically made the centerpiece of the company the latest WCW leftover/WWE reject (Christian, Kurt, Sting). They pushed the X-Division to the side and down the card (the division that made AJ, Joe, Daniels, amongst others for their company), so, instead of it being their "futures" division, it basically became their "lightweights" division and pushed down the card.
Worst of all, they kept Vince Russo, Dutch Mantel, and Jeff Jarrett in positions of control power for too long.
TNA smells of final days of WCW television...because, well...its basically being ran by a bunch of guys that were there until the ship sunk and haven't learned anything since.
As bad as the WWE is, its better then TNA. TNA is all potential that, until they get someone to actually book wrestling, will never be realized.
