Yeah. Have to wonder if they are turning Teddy Long heel with it.
The feed I watched was kinda weak, but I can't really complain all that much.
Had to figure one of the two main events was going to have some kind of worked finish. The Taker-Punk finish lets them build towards another match between them at Hell in the Cell. Which will hopefully be in the Hell in the Cell and with more time to work.Comment

Honestly... this might be my favorite PPV in YEARS.
I thought Orton/Cena was booked great and was really impressed with how the match was structured and honestly... the ending didn't piss me off too much. Normally I'd be pissed that Cena won, but I thought it was done great.
Am I in the minority?Comment

It certainly didn't make Orton look weak though.
It just shows flaws in his "slow, methodical" strategy. He had Cena in multiple times where he could've sealed the deal but because he is such a slow-paced sorta worker that he let Cena off the hook some times.
That's at least how I saw it. I don't think Orton looks any weaker after this which is exactly the point. Contrast the way this match was constructed against his one at Wrestlemania against HHH. WM made him look weak... this did not. Afterall, It took handcuffs to make him tap.Comment

Winners and STILL WWE UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: THE BIG SHOW AND CHRIS JERICHO - Keep the belts on these 2 as long as possible maybe till edge gets back? Although when edge gets back they will prob shoot him to face OR have him do his patient win the belt back randomly after having nothing to do with the match lol. Ultimate Opportunist FTW
Winner and STILL US Champion: Kofi Kingston - Eh no build up equal I don't care "E" good job, keep kofi rolling
Winners: Legacy - My surprise finish of the night, why are Orton and Legacy still connected, it had promising things @ first but the E's horrible booking messed that up. All they do is stupid locker room staring and mean faces @ each other and OK promos outside of Orton whos promos are money. Great win by them of course the game just could not have anything to do with the finish. O no way in hell he taps so Shawn has to tap out o JOY. Good win Legacy can't wait to see this feud hopefully come to an end at HNAC.
Winner: Kane - shitty who cares...although Khali's music is money
Winner and STILL ECW Champion: Christian - I guess this is cool keep regal and his group of goons chasing
Winner and NEW WWE Champion: John Cena - Moving on :hmm:
Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk - Montreal screw job V.2 what a way to end this as we all knew it wouldn't be a clean loss towards taker. I guess Teddy is a heel now? And you heard it here first this will be the best match @ HNAC and I see taker getting his many run there leading up to survivor series.
I would give the show 7 outta 10. Didn't watch cause the "E" and there shitty booking took a back seat to Football today. Kinda of glad i didn't so I couldn't rank matches but eh, this to me was a gimmicky time filling PPV that will lead up to HNAC aka No Mercy. Then come around to an interesting PPV @ Survivor SeriesComment

I was a bit surprised on the finish to the Legacy-DX match, but it makes so much sense. That kind of win can put Rhodes and DiBiase on the road to succeeding without Orton. Have a feud-ender at the next PPV, where DX obviously wins. But in the meantime, build up tension between Orton and the duo, as he blames them for not being there to help him retain his belt (they couldn't be but he's crazy, right?). DX win the feud but Legacy earn their respect. Probably won't happen, but its a thought...
I'm interested to see Raw tomorrow, just to see what Batista's "big" announcement is. Read a rumor that he's moving to SD, possibly with UT moving to Raw.Comment

I wouldn't mind that move as I hate Botchtista, UT coming over would be more than good for me. We all know that Legacy as a whole all 3 of them is going to die sometime this winter, Teds gonna go face for his movie, god knows what they are going to do with Cody. Am I the only one that wants edge back really badComment
