I feel like the WWE has been signing a bunch of these indy guys lately simply so TNA can't get them and turn them into mainstream stars. I can't think of any other explanation for all of these 185 lb guys who have been signing developmental deals lately.

You are right, it's asset denial. They could probably break into TNA faster, but signing with the WWE, it's guaranteed better money, even for a slower climb. Vince can outspend TNA in that respect.

        No.

The title match has zero drama.

The survivor series match has been fucked up more than a crack whore looking for her next fix.

I don't know anything else on the show.

Agreed, especially on the Survivor Series elimination match. It's almost like they want to put out a terrible match as an excuse to get rid of it and do something else. It originally started as essentially rematches from Hell in a Cell, and when people took notice, they started making changes to it.

Don't think I'll be tuning in. I would rather finish up strong with BLOPSII double XP.

McMahon had the puny, tiny boxing draw, knock out his biggest wrestler on a show that drew a million buys, and is a Top 5 buyrate for WrestleMania.

McMahon also miscast said boxer as a babyface.

                Very true.

Money May is a premium and natural heel.

The funny thing is they tried building him as a face in the feud, I went to the RAW 2 weeks before Mania and Money May was getting more heat than Vickie.

That's because Vince McMahon is a strange man who has no clue what is going on outside the WWE bubble. I can guarantee he never watched a Mayweather fight in his life and probably figured that since he was the biggest name boxer in the world, he would make a great babyface, not understanding that he has overwhelming heel charisma.

Vince doesn't even pay attention to anything in his own industry outside of his own company, let alone things like boxing. People joke that he is completely out of touch with pop culture, to the point he hasn't seen a movie in decades and often has to have pop culture references explained to him during production meetings when things like that come up.

People with his drive/motivation/dedication to what they do are the .001% of society and it's what separates people like Vince from normal people like you or me.

Has there ever been a good traditional Survivor Series match?

I can't recall a good, nevermind GREAT one.

The concept is awesome...just don't recall a great execution of it.

War Games was a semi-similar concept that has delivered great matches plenty of times. Survivor Series...not really.

1987 had a fun bajillion-man elimination match with tag teams. No recollection as far as quality goes.
