Nevermind the fact that he's a dude with multiple concussions who had a head trauma induced stroke. Wouldnt want to see the guy get seriously hurt.
I tend to agree with you, but look at Ricky Steamboat.
Hadn't wrestled in years, had a bad back and, like Chris Jericho said, outperformed 80% of the lockerroom in his mid-50s.

I've never been a Bret Hart fan, but you can't deny his in-ring skills.

I think with the right preparation, he could have one good match left in him.

Ricky Steamboat never had a fucking stroke..

If Bret DOES indeed fight once more, its only because hes desperate for a huge pay day, and thats a huge shame too. Wouldnt surprise me tho, he was signing autographs at the ROH show in a local community center for 25 dollars a pop. Him and Flair both.

It was more an emphasis on how dumb the idea is, or how dumb you are, whatever you prefer.

                HUSTLE folded.

All Japan barely uses any foreigners.

                New Japan dosent use any.

NOAH is struggling badly financially and cut back on foreigners.

Dragon Gate uses guys under 200lbs, and have also cut back on foreigners dramatically.

Kofi and Swagger, along with nearly everyone else on the WWE roster (with the exception of a handful of job guys who never get booked, like Tyler Reks or Funaki), cant go anywhere and make more money than they do now. There hasnt been serious money in Japan for foreigners since probably the early 90's.

Anyone following the New Japan Super J Cup? Anyone? Anyone?

                  Crickets.

Seek it out, the first round was up on Youtube within hours of the final match. Real good stuff.

Kota Ibushi vs. Gedo, Prince Devitt vs. Atsushi Aoki in a battle of NJPW vs. NOAH future stars, Koji Kanemoto vs. Fajita Jr Hayoto in a classic veteran vs. up and comer, Naomichi Marufuji vs. Jushin Liger which needs no hype, plus Tigers Mask, Jado, and W2BTD personal favorite YAMATO from Dragon Gate....

All 8 matches were pretty good, with those first four I mentioned very, very good. Final rounds should be up shortly.

I've been checking results but haven't watched any of the matches yet. Bit surprised at the result of Kota-Gedo.

Thanks for the heads up, haven't been following it at all. Definitely looking forward to checking out Marufuji/Liger. Haven't seen much Marufuji lately and I must change that.

You'd never even know he blew his ACL a year ago, he looks great.

As for the first round, what I really liked about it was each match told a unique story and was worked a different style.

Just thought I should add that.

After watching the matches, I think the booking so far, from the matchups, to the way the way the matches have played out, to who we have left, has been nothing short of brilliant.

I'm really hyped up to see the rest of the tournament, i've been checking YouTube every hour or so waiting for the next set of matches.

He's really an awesome character. He generates awesome heel heat, even from me and my buds. He's the exact reason why male wrestling managers are so amazing and can really enhance characters.

So during the show we were fucking with him and he turns to my one friend and goes "I'll meet you outside after the show... you PUNK!" Of course we laugh it off, whatever... we walk out and low and behold outside behind the back is Prince Nana signing autographs. So we walked up and said... "We're here for the fight..." He started like running away and backing up...He kept in character and stuff it was awesome. He all signed our photos with like funny captions and stuff and talked for a good 20-30 minutes pretty much entirely in character. Good guy.
