Well, Bret already gave Vince a black eye.

It's going to be something else to see him back though.

Monday night may be the most anticipated weeknight in wrestling since well, in a long friggin time.

Last night I saw that RAW was on so I turned it on for a half hour and I saw Triple H and Shawn Michaels beat Chavo and Big Show and with a midget coming out to pedigree Chavo Guerrero.

What the fuck is the WWE about nowadays?

It's terrible these days, but you might want to watch this next week. They are going to start getting some legit competition so they may ramp up their writing and really try to attract more than 7-13 year olds.

The build to Wrestlemania is usually good so more than any other time, January would be the time to start watching again.

Absolutely... it's the time where I make sure I never miss a Raw because they always bring their A game.

Man, i heard he was working out everyday or something like that with a personnel trainer, so when i heard he was coming back to TNA i got a little bit excited to see what he looked like.

To my shame hes still a fat m'fer.

Do you think nWo (or whatever TNA can call it) will invade WWE a la DX invading WCW??

                      I see

Nash/Hall re-uniting, maybe with Scott Steiner since he's still talking about the "MEM" exsisting even though it doesn't. Which is a shame because I think Steiner should still just be on his own as he is money on the mic and would be great as a singles guy putting over younger dudes than to get packaged back with The Outsiders.

X-Pac could also "join" them up, and be the X-Division representative of the bunch.

However I don't really see Hogan coming into the company as a Heel in his NWO fashion. He might have a confrontation or talk about them but I really don't see him doing much this first night other than an appearance/speech/brawl stopped by security type of deal.

They shouldn't do that though because nobody is going to watch that long term. That's not exciting, it's not new. It's just a repeat of 2003 which was a repeat of 1996.

Eric Bischoff posted a new blog entry on his website EricBischoff.com where he discussed this Monday’s 1/4 live Impact special. Bischoff noted that WWE is bringing Bret Hart back to the company because they are “reacting to the competition.”

“Bret will be able to put a painful and personally traumatic part of his life behind him.”

Bischoff also wrote in great detail about TNA’s big step this Monday:

Clearly TNA is up against a Wall Street mega-corp bully with a billion dollar bank account and a Chairman that thinks only he should have any meaningful market share of the professional wrestling business (even though he’s embarrassed to admit he’s in the professional wrestling business). It will be an up-hill battle for TNA indeed.

The real winner though, will be the wrestling fans.

Based on the mind-numbingly stupid Raw I had the misfortune of dropping in on last week, perhaps the fact that TNA stepped up and is at least taking a swing at the bully was enough to make McMahon realize that he could not afford to take his audience for granted and continue to shove tripe down the throats of his Goliath “universe” while David was reaching for a stone.

This Monday Night…win, lose, or draw I have to give credit to the folks at TNA and Spike. They could have taken the easy path and put their best foot forward un-opposed. That would make the most sense to many people. But by at least getting into the fight, TNA is most likely going to gain the awareness and respect of a completely different audience.

And wrestling fans are not only going to have a choice this Monday night, they will most likely see a higher quality product all the way around. And for that they should thank TNA.

TNA should focus on upping their own shit before they have "reps" talking smack.

                                Thank goodness for this:

As Jan. 4 approaches, a source told WrestleZone.com that TNA has reached an agreement with Scott Hall and Sean Waltman to work on a “pay as you play” basis. No long-term contracts will be signed; Hall and Waltman will be employed as long as their performance and off-screen behavior warrants. TNA reportedly sees Hall and Waltman as short-term hires even in the best of scenarios.

TNA is also pushing hard to sign Jeff Hardy and Ric Flair before Jan. 4. Hardy, of course, is still dealing with legal matters stemming from his September drug bust. Flair, meanwhile, would be involved in a three-way “icons” program with Hulk Hogan and Sting if he signs with TNA. The actual ring time of all three would be very limited.

Most of the contracts of TNA’s incoming big names, such as Hogan and Flair, will reportedly be guaranteed by Panda Energy.
Sense TNA thinks Hall and Pac aren't long time answers, that makes me think they're thinking of the bigger picture once things get rolling.

Looks like they're trying to bring back emo trash Hardy. Hes arguably the biggest name in wrestling right now but he is just a mess and didn't have nice shit to say about TNA when he left even though they put him in the Main Event scene.
