Cabana makes more money now than he would with a WWE downside deal.

WWE offers more upside, especially with movies, exposure, and place on the card and revenue from games, PPVs, etc., but by going to the WWE, he'd lose a lot of the revenue streams he's got going for himself.

I'm sure he's got the "what if" going for him...but he seems happy doing his own thing and blazing his own path.

Colt Cabana was born to be in the WWE. Kids would love him, he'd be a great undercard comedy babyface, and he could host things like Saturday Morning Slam, etc.

He was getting rave reviews as a color guy in FCW, but I think it was Dusty Rhodes who wasn't a fan and had him removed.

Like Generico, I thought Colt would be a hit with the kids. You are right, he'd be mint with Saturday Morning Slam or shit like that.

Much better than the likes of Santino.

I watched Saturday Morning Slam for the first time ever last weekend. The one thing that struck me as odd was how politically-correct children's TV ads are now. Honestly, haven't seen Saturday morning TV ads in ages. "Don't ride this scooter without parental guidance..." etc. It was kinda unreal. Never saw ads like that until Saturday ... seriously.

In my day, the Saturday morning cartoon ads were a little less PC.

Anyone can watch a Cabana match and be turned off by the European style (tbh, I don't know if he still goes heavily into that, haven't seen him work in too long) or by his in-ring comedy. But, the minute he gets a mic, it's just impossible for anyone with a brain to not love the guy and what he's capable of doing.

            Pure gold.

Unfortunately in WWE, that doesn't matter. Everything is so devoid of creativity and organic performances. From Matt Striker's generic smiling after he spouts out his useless one sentence generic question....to everyone leaving the ring having to walk up the ramp and turn around while making an angry face.....to every fucking heel having to back down and leave the ring when the babyface stands up to them.

For the announcers, I'm sure Cole gets more leeway but even he usually rides it safe. JBL does his own shtick while Lawler coasts. I hear Matthews is a complete drone, which sucks since he has potential to do well.

You can seriously write an entire episode of RAW, format and everything, and you won't be far off at all compared to how any Monday night broadcast will turn out.

And now the ratings start to slip.

wait, what? The RAW is GENERICO guy got tossed?

I know they censor the fuck out of live TV, but I hope it was a situation where they wanted the sign, he said fuck off, they said get out.

It will be a few months before we get an official buyrate for the WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view but F4Wonline.com reports that three different sources this past week stated that very early estimates do not look good. One number being floated around was “downright shocking.” WWE’s own internal projections were lowered substantially in the final week before the pay-per-view based on the Elimination Chamber buys coming in lower than expected.
Also hearing Punk won't be back until around SummerSlam, if that's the case really no reason for me to watch.

Had to post this. The UFC 159 card looks amazing. I can't wait to watch the Bispingpong vs. Ellen Degeneres fight. I'm going with Diabetes with the 1st round TKO over Nelson too. Oh and Stephanie making her debut. Gotta love Wiki.

EDIT: Looks like it's been fixed...but that's what the pic was for.
