    Hows the Joker Sting stuff.

At first the idea sounds interesting, then I think its old ass Sting ripping off a gimmick from three years ago (sounds like his dated Crow gimmick, too, that lasted for over a damn decade)...

I guess Stinger just waits to see everything on TNT...

Ridiculously corny. Plus the make-up looks terrible so you look at him while he's trying to act all goofy and all I can think of is how silly it all is.

I loved the four corners match and thought the Crimson/Roode match was pretty good as well.

Joker Sting is good stuff as long you don't have any expectations of it. You described it pretty well from a theory standpoint.

I don't have the slightest clue with what their doing with The Pope.

I can gather its not natural.

I mean, Crow Sting made some sense in the context of story...everyone turned on him due to the nWo...leaves for a year...comes back to tear shit up for revenge and for WCW...the whole video package was pretty awesome and worked and sold Crow Sting. Plus, it helped that he never spoke.

Then he ran with it for over a decade.

Now I just assume this is an awful dated pop culture reference that would be cool maybe if he came up with it on his own, but its just a cheap rip off that will lead up to Sting v. Hogan 12814908403...riveting stuff.

Except Hogan should never wrestle again since his body probably can't take it.

Maybe a tag match or a bells and whistles 5 minute deal.

Naturally, TNA has their top storyline being another nWo rip off (I guess?) led by Hogan, Buh Buh Dudley with Scott Steiners' still pumped self involved too feuding with Sting.

When they give the young guys the chance to do what they do, wrestle, it's great (see the two tag matches and sure, even the Roode match). So why don't they just say fuck their usual way of booking and make it the place to see the 'best' wrestling. Cut out the nonsense, the swerves and just let them go.

It's not like they've been doing great business for the past several years...but I guess the decision makers refuse to do anything that would fire/replace old friends.

I've always thought Bubba Dudley would be a good "henchman" type as a singles wrestler.

Kind of like the Scott Norton role of the old nWo, but, better.

He's really good in that role. Surprised the shit out of me.

He's a natural bully type, so, I've always thought as a singles guy, if he ever broke from Devon, the best role is as a badass henchman.

In the WWE they tried to put him over as a hard working, yet bad ass baby face against the likes of HHH to get him over as a babyface, but he's one of the most natural heels you can find.

I've hoping for that for three years now. Its not happening. They wouldn't do it before Hogan & Bischoff and they won't now. TNA has no more interest in being a true "wrestling promotion" than the WWE does. At least McMahon is sorta honest about it - TNA likes to tease it and talk about it and promote themselves that way, then never ever EVER fucking do it. The whole "Wrestling Matters" bullshit is just a marketing tag line. They won't move away from the only formula they know.

As for Hogan in the ring, they will do it if they believe he can hold up. Absolutely. Read an interview with Bischoff awhile back (I think I read them just to get annoyed at the shit he spews), he talked about the whole Immortal storyline didn't end up playing out the way they planned because Hogan's back limited his ability to do what they needed him to do. So yup, the whole great plan that Hogan and Bischoff came in with to save TNA was Hulk Hogan wrestling.

I can't even bring myself to watch the shit anymore. I really wanted them to succeed, but if they don't care enough to try, why should I care either? I stopped watching Impact almost a year ago. Flipped it on about a month ago to watch... It was a Knockouts match and they had Angelina Love doing a zombie gimmick. Yup. Wrestling Matters in TNA.

You can not succeed with Eric Bischoff calling the shots. His entire claim to fame/track record is copying a gimmick from Japan, and going from #1 to out of business in three years.

Eric Bischoff has not a single fucking clue how to run a wrestling company. And Hulk Hogan just does whatever is best for Hulk Hogan. The guy is broke, as long as his checks clear, he could give a fuck what happens to TNA once he's done bleedinge bleeding the Carter's dry.

And Dixie is a mark for the 90's, so she is holding them back too, even if she has good intentions and is a nice woman.

There are people who could easily make TNA a better asthetic product, but there is no gauruntee they would make more money.

Heyman with full autonomy over all decisions, booking the main event angles and handling production, with Gabe Sapolsky as his underling booking the underneath stuff, would be ideal. If nothing elase, you would have forward thinking, logic, long term ideas, and shit that made sense. But it doesn't work if Dixie butts her nose in or any of the current hacks retain any power. That's why Heyman wanted part ownership and full creative control, and that's why he ultimately said no.

Heyman - The boss. Lays out the important stuff, handles the long term money angles. Production head. Basically a non closeted gay version of Vince who isn't afraid of the word 'wrestling' and is closer to pop culture and what's 'next'.

Sapolsky - Day to day booking. House show booker. Idea man. Talent scout. He could rehash the better ROH stuff because nobody has seen it. Heyman can police his wacky stuff that doesn't work, like 'faction warzzz'.

Dava Lagana - Production. Idea man. Checks and balances for Heyman.

Tommy Dreamer - Road agent. Good cop. Young guys respect him, they know he did whatever it took for the good of the company he worked for.

Austin Aries - Road agent. Bad cop. He's a prick. Match layouts. Last thing we need are more road agents from the 80's. Be progressive, nobody cares about reverse chin locks anymore, its 2011. They have to be different from the E, and it starts with in ring style.

Anyone and everyone from the currrent regime must go. All of them.

I'm not going to lie, I heard this idea from BRYAN ALVAREZ but I think it is AWESOME. Have Punk win the title from Cena. He can then cut a promo on how he said he would do it and he did. etc etc. They are in Chicago so Punk is going to get a HUGE reaction for the title win and WWE is going against the grain of having Punk cut a heel promo to the live crowd only as he usually does in Chicago to turn them against him. Instead, WWE WANTS him cheered in Chicago and Cena booed. Vince McMahon would then come out and go ballistic. He orders one of the Money in the Bank winners from earlier in the show to come out and take the title. One of them comes out and cashes it in. He then LOSES to Punk!!! Now Punk has beaten Cena and you have the first ever failure of a MITB winner. Vince then calls out the other MITB winner to cash it in and he does and is successful. Now you have completed three goals. You built Punk up strong for his eventual return (if he even leaves as I heard a weak rumor he has re-signed and isn't leaving anymore). You have an angle between Vince and Cena for a few months since Vince specifically said if Punk leaves with the title, Cena is fired but since Punk isn't leaving, Cena isn't fired. You have the first MITB winner to lose his shot (which needs to be done soon or else this stipulation is ridiculous) and you have a new champion/angle leading into Summer Slam.

                              Seriously.

Make the "X-Division" a staple again...that and the 6-sided ring were the only things that separated them early on. Don't just make it a bunch of flippy spot monkeys...the best time in the X-Division is when you had Joe's fat ass with AJ and Daniels and all that...make it like a ROH-lite. W-L's matter. A Bellator of sorts, too. Lots of tournaments. Make it your "sport" side. The intermediary between the indies and your main product. Kind of like how the WWE had the ECW brand functioning for a while. The rest of the card, I'm sure Heyman can work with it considering how stacked the actual roster is. Its not like he'll be working with Rhino's and Justin Credible's as his main card features. Get that second show, if even for an hour (obviously Spike has room for an extra hour as long as its not shit) where you give the actual undercard time for stories.

                              Obviously MOAR KURT ANGLEEEEZ
