Watched the new nWo roundtable on 24/7 with Nash...he totally skates any blame for the decision to beat Goldberg and then the finger poke of doom. Claims they needed to end Golberg's streak so they could move on....and then for whatever reason blames Goldberg injuring his hand with the glass (in December 1999) for why the angle with Hogan in January 1999 didn't work...

I have much more of a problem with the Fingerpoke than the streak ending. Just like w/Samoa Joe, it doesn't matter where or when or how you end a streak that long, people are going to 2nd guess it. Multiple run-ins and a tasering leading to a loss to an insanely over Nash and Wolfpac group wasn't a terrible way to go. There probably wasn't as over a wrestler from then on to the end of WCW than Nash was right before that match, though that's not saying a lot. Sure, it leaves a sour taste that Nash was the booker and notoriously out for himself. But IMO, it wasn't that bad. Now wasting that and the whole Wolfpac angle on a minute match to old, not over Hogan, to bring back a united NWO that no one ever asked to see again, in a confusing manner, on free TV, when the match was announced only an hour or two ago, while doing irreperable damage in devaluing your ME and title, in front of a crowd that was pretty hot for that showdown....Doesn't make half a bit of sense.

I still don't know why they are pushing Gunner in the BFG series. He's got all these big name wins, yet whenever he's on TV he's simply a low level lackey for Immortal who hardly says anything. They haven't even built him as a credible character yet. He was a FUCKING SECURITY GUARD not that long ago.

Punk showed up at an AAW show in Berwyn, IL where Cabana was wrestling, with the WWE belt and all.
Cut a promo putting over the AAW guy Gregory Iron and said don't let anyone tell you, you can't be what you want to be. This was after Cabana cut a promo talking about how he's spent over 10 years and the top people didn't give him a chance but he's got tons of fans around the world, etc.
