Very... VERY insider stuff but if you're a fan of the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes on on TV, you might dig this:
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXPULi8PALI&feature=player_embedded"]Good stuff[/ame]
Top highlights for me so far:
-The guys at the Gorilla Position commenting that a fight in the stands is more entertaining then the Drozdov/Dustin Runnels match in the ring.
Bonus points for cracking wise about the crowd giving Droz a standing ovation.
-The on the spot editing decision to remove the "What"s from the crowd noise during Taker's promo against RVD.
Apparently Lawler made the call.
-J.R. and Paul E. comparing notes on Stacy Keibler and Trish Stratus, saying Keibler was hotter... before they get busted by Vince.Comment

There's another one floating around where Vince and one of the staff (I guess a writer) is coaching up Brock Lesnar on how to deliver his big line before his fight with The Rock at SummerSlam.
Something about a "wildline."
It completely destroys the mystique behind how the show's done but if you were one to get into how television is produced, this'd be a good reference.

There is a lot of this floating around. Back in this era, people with those old school giant sat dishes were able to hijack the live signal from both the Smackdown tapings and the live RAW's. "Early" Smackdown's were a hot commodity, because they would have all of the unedited botches and shit, plus the commentary was very raw because they knew they could voice over anything they didn't like.
At some point either the WWE wised up or the technology advanced, and they went to a closed sat signal.Comment

There was one video of Cole and Lawler (I think on SD) during breaks in the show talking about all the chicks they could spot. I'll see if it's still around somewhere....
Cole, King and JR cracking jokes about Chimel at about 5 minutes on this one was hilarious

In the newest newsletter, Meltzer says the plans for WWE network is to move all but 4 or 5 PPVs to the network. The major ones including Rumble, WM, Summerslam and perhaps Survivor Series would remain on PPV.
So, by 2013 and beyond, the odds are the UFC will be the only PPV entity running regularly every month (and even more when they run multiple shows inside of 4 weeks).

So...basically Clash of the Champions every month?
Too expensive, too many, too over saturated of a product on free TV in the first place.
UFC is having the same problem selling PPVs...market is stale.Comment

I think what they will do, is offer the B shows on PPV and the network for the first year or so, pushing the idea that you can see the PPV's for free if your cable/sat company picks up the network.
The B-shows are the big ticket events they need to build the network around.Comment

Gimme B shows + their library of old footage and that's the best channel on TV.
