Sabu hospitalized; Extreme Reunion notes
Sabu was rushed to the hospital this afternoon after being what police called intoxicated at his hotel room before the Extreme Reunion show.* Sabu didn't appear at a fan convention before the show and people were worried.
Sabu was scheduled to face Shane Douglas in the main event.* The story given was he had an allergic reaction to medication.
The show started 30 minutes late.* We don't have other details other than the building was sold out with about 2,400 fans, making it probably the biggest indie show of the year in North America.
Justin Credible was kicked out from backstage after reportedly passing out.
It's 11 p.m. at this writing, fans are chanting "End the show."* They have about an hour's worth of scheduled matches left.
Jerry Lynn vs. Devon Storm is stealing the show right now and turned the mood around, with "Thank You Jerry, Thank you Crowbar" chants.
Women in the crowd having been flashing their boobs.
Shane Douglas got in the ring and the natives wre chanting "refund" at him.* Not exactly what you'd expect from a nostalgia crowd.
They are now ending the show with Douglas vs. Too Cold Scorpio, so apparently pulled some things from the show due to being late.Comment

They drew almost 2500 people, so you can bet they will keep doing them.
I will give Douglas credit. He tried to push younger guys on the show (Ruckus and his crew beat down The Gangstas for example), because he wants this thing to be a promotion, but he also knows that just like last time, the shows will have diminishing returns with the ECW crew. But the crowd shit on all the attempts to get the younger guys over, because all they wanted was nostalgia, so this thing is DOA. They might as well just do the nostalgia stuff until it stops drawing again.Comment

More bad news for Scott Hall, courtesy of TMZ and the local boards at Penny Arcade:
TMZ reports that Scott Hall is in trouble once again as his financier claims the former WCW star has defaulted on a mortgage and now owes him $75,000.
According to a lawsuit filed in Florida, Hall borrowed $75,000 to buy a house in Seminole County in June of 2011. Hall allegedly missed his final balloon payment last December and is now refusing to pay what he owes.
The lawsuit says Hall isn't even living in the home in question and it's currently vacant. The lender wants to foreclose on the home and sell it but wants Hall to pay the difference. Reps for Hall had no comment for TMZ.
Also, what Rey Mysterio got popped for specifically:
As noted before, Rey Mysterio was suspended for 60 days last week for violating the WWE Wellness Policy for a second time. Rey reportedly failed the drug test back on February 13th but wasn't suspended until this month.
Rey reportedly tested positive for amphetamines.
Rey showed up to the RAW Supershow on February 13th in San Diego but before he could settled in and say hello to everyone, he was informed that he had to go right in for drug testing. A week later, Vince McMahon was upset with Rey but at the time, nobody knew why.
Rey couldn't believe that he tested positive for amphetamines and says he has been living his life clean. WWE officials asked Mysterio about which medications he was taking and he was upfront about everything. A few days ago, officials called him and asked when he would be ready to return. Rey informed WWE that he could come back in June but was then told that he would have to wait another month because he was being suspended for 60 days.
Rey believes he failed the test because of something he took that caused the positive for amphetamines. WWE obviously did not buy his story as they went public with the failure last week.
Rey was scheduled to go to Japan in a few weeks to do promotional work for WWE but has been replaced by Alberto Del RioComment
