Can someone do english dubs of Japanese events so I don't have to keep watching WWE bullshit?Comment

You need not to understand gook to know what's going on in the land of the rising flippy japs. The story lines are so simple, tards can understand them without English. The matches speak for themselves.Comment

I typically don't sit down and watch wrestling though. I'm usually working and have it on in the background while I glance over occasionally.Comment

Not much going on.
NOAH Tag League & All Japan Champion Carnival just wrapped up, but neither produced anything all that great.
New Japan is laying low atm.
Dragon Gate is about to have a big PPV in a few days. Infinity 254 went up last week, its a long one, and features the KING OF CHOP tournament silliness.
Only must watch is the upcoming DG PPV, honestly.
Anyway, some of the jap announcers do a better job than the english announcers in terms of getting shit over, and I dont understand one word. Think about that.Comment

Been watching a bunch of late 80s and early 90s All Japan of late. So much greatness.
And Larry is right - you don't need to understand Japanese to be able to watch. I think I've even picked up a bit of the language. Not absolutely certain, but I'm pretty sure that "LLLLLAAAARRRRIIIAAAATTTTTOOOOOOO" translates to Lariat.... probably...Comment

It's funny to me that just a couple years ago everybody would've scoffed in your face if you stated this as a possibility, just an internet/indie smark with pipe dreams.Comment

Half way through the "Summer of Punk" DVD from ROH.
Great wrestling television. Too bad it resulted in James Gibson getting the title as a transition...having AmDrag come back and take the title from Punk 30 days earlier would have been fan-fucking-tastic.Comment
