If WWE wastes Steve Austin's only comeback match on a match we've already seen before I'm going to be really pissed.

Austin is smarter than that, I seriously doubt he would come back for the 4 month WrestleMania road commitment and go through training for a Triple H match. This is only in the news now because Meltzer had it in the newsletter yesterday as a long term plan they had in mind a few months ago. Since Dave felt comfortable finally leaking it, to me that means it's likely dead.
