It seemed like a pointless theme, and just a way to get the country music guys on. I laughed when they said "And here is RAW country's theme song by FGL" play it for a few seconds, and then go right back to their other music when giving a match preview with the graphics for Big E and Axel.

A few scenes in the back with the band and a song ... what was exactly country about that?

My guess is the hope was the Country theme, along with the group they had perform, would attract some people who don't normally tune into WWE.

Honestly, they shouldn't be worried about that kind of theme right now. Save that for when you don't have the NFL and new TV shows on Mondays. What they need to do is have more appearances of past superstars like they did with Edge, and hope you bring back the average wrestling fan, who may not tune in every week depending on what else is on TV.

Or, better yet, they can create some new stars and organically build a long-term viewing and buying audience.

Or, yeah, bring out Shawn Michaels again.

What do you think of Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards going to NXT? Do you think they'll make it in WWE? What do you think of the recent thing in the Observer of Richards having heat in ROH due to comments he made in an interview? I personally am worried that one will blow it for the other in WWE.

yeah, the show isn't very good. I don't like a lot of the roster, not really a fan of Rockness Monsters, can't stand Ray Rojas, etc. Lots of the guys they use are indie-rific. I like Scorpio Sky, Pearce, Shaun Ricker before he left for NXT (did he debut yet?), looks like Human Tornado is coming in.
