Why SuperKevin? Nobody wants to see that old shit. Not when there's a NEW Robocop movie coming out! That nostalgia writes itself. UT has to play the heel though, for Robo to make the save....

I see stuff like this and smile.

Then I remember what a shit-bag Hogan is outside the ring and frown.

          Wrestling's funny that way.

It was the subject of our first-ever podcast and its the subject of today's brand new podcast - the Wrestling Observer Awards! We give our picks, who we voted for and why, discuss who the WO readers voted for and answer a few listener questions. Discussions include Okada's improvement in the ring, whether Goldust deserves as much praise as he gets, why lucha is unrepresented in these awards and why CHIKARA was our Worst Promotion of the Year.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson says this is the Mania "big match" lineup, and describes it as "set in stone":

              Orton vs Batista (World title)
              HHH vs Punk
              Undertaker vs Lesnar
              Cena vs Wyatt
              Bryan vs Sheamus

LOL @ this lineup if it holds up. I can't believe the Cena/Wyatt idea survived. And when are they going to give up on Sheamus and send him to Dolph/ADR land?

Bryan/Sheamus being described as a "make good" for the dark match & 10 second gimmick.

"Make good" for who, exactly? They honest to good think people care about Sheamus.

I think the next night was everyone's make good for Bryan unless, yeah, they are doing a make good for Sheamus which what the fuck?!

It is going to become the moment he becomes a BIGGER STAR, amirite?

He's already a bigger star since SummerSlam, that baby has been put to bed. But if this Sheamus match is real & happening, its an indefensible momentum killer because Sheamus is a non entity. People online are spinning it but it can't be spun. It screams "we don't know what to do with him".

There's a reason public speaking is everyone's greatest fear. Check out these 13 Superstar interviews that went terribly awry, boggled the WWE Universe or were just plain weird, presented by Fruity Pebbles.

I don't even know if it's not knowing what to do with him. There's 4 big names he could face, 5 if they ever did a face vs. face match with Punk which wouldn't be the worst idea. UT is the big one, obviously. Brock would be huge for him. Trips, maybe with HBK reffing, would make snese and be big time. And you know, would make an actual story arc from the last 5 months of 2013. Cena re-match would do well, even though it's underwhelming. Sheamus doesn't seem like they're lost on where to go with him, but they're having their last gasp at trying to slow down his momentum. Anyone watching from the outside can see that he is the star of the show, he needs something with balls at WM. Sheamus isn't it.
