Hmmmm who would of that trotting out the same ol bullshit would eventually cause the fans to turn on anyone and everyone?

I feel bad in a way for Batista, Orton and Cena because WWE is tone deaf they are getting boo'd, turned on and anything and everything for our voice to be heard.

Telling you this has got to be a work.

      RE: Larry's last post.

Bryan Alvarez also said he talked to people who told him Orton filpped out backstage and did not handle things well at all.

This all plays into my point last night. Orton & Batista are total WWE products. They simply have no clue how to handle things when it doesn't go according to plan. They can both take a lesson from Cena, who goes with whatever flow he's handed. To be fair most of the time the Cena stuff is good natured ribbing by the fans and is now part of the fabric of the company, but that's also because Cena long ago embraced it and went along with it. Orton throws a fucking fit every time. Same for Batista. They can't handle adversity.

What is the major malfunction at WWE that keeps them from training "their guys" on how to follow the crowd reactions on how to handle themselves in the match? Is it that most of them don't have enough time in the ring outside of WWE to have learned that at the local/indy level?

          Yes.

Not just an indie level, but international as well. They know one style, one type of crowd, one way to work.

The WWE mentality is "we know what's good for you". It's very, very hard for them to switch course. They rarely do. So when a guy like Orton sees things go off the rails, he's confused & frustrated. This isn't what was supposed to happen.

A famous story that has come up the last 24 hours is the 1990 All Japan Jumbo Tsuruta vs Mitsuhara Misawa match. Jumbo was the star of the company, but Misawa was clearly the next big thing brewing underneath. The promoter, Giant Baba, had a long term plan for his push. But when they got to the building that night, it was clear that the fans were there to see Misawa and were ready for him to beat Jumbo. Baba realized Misawa losing would be counter productive at that point, said "fuck it", tossed out months worth of long term booking, and changed the finish on the fly. The rest is history. Star making match.

Things don't always go according to plan. Baba recognized it and reacted.

WWE tends to be stubborn. Sometimes they're right. Sometimes they're wrong. But they are almost always stubborn.

The moment, to me, Cena "got it" was at One Night Stand where he and the crowd pre-match threw his shirt in and out of the ring for 10 minutes before the match with RVD started. From there, Cena just rolled with the punches and has been better off for it.

At this point..."Let's Go Cena...Cena Sucks" is just his chant. Fans at this point just rib him. And, Cena himself just eats it up.

There are times in some matches where Cena just rolls through despite being shit on...but he never gets rattled or visibly shaken by the crowd shitting on something he is doing. Guys like Orton, Batista, Sheamus, Big Show, Kofi, Miz...they have all suffered badly from not being able to adjust or not being able to control the crowd. Not everyone needs to be Hogan or Roberts, but damn, have a little improvisation.

Little to no experience working for different crowd around the world. When you're working in front of 50 people in a VFW, you learn shit that will help you exponentially when you're in front of 25K.

KENTA is trying out in Orlando today.

Probably getting laughed at by DeMott for stealing Punk & Bryan's shit.

I was watching random youtube videos and that same thing happened to cena against punk.

Cena looked over at punk, and punk just gave him the look. Had me rolling.

Seriously, this tryout must be epic.

His two signature moves, one of which HE INVENTED, are used by Punk & Bryan.

His submission finisher is the Yes/No/LaBell Lock, and he calls it GAME OVER.

DeMott is gonna throw the poor dude out of the place.

EDIT - I forgot, Punk also does the KENTA RUSH. The fucking thing is named after the guy.

                    Oh boy.

Joke would still be all over DeMott though, dude's a clown and I have no idea why he has that job. Nothing he ever has done qualifies him for it.

                            From mookie:

Looks who is missing from the "excludes overrun" column, meaning he doesn't draw shit unless he's in the main event with another big star?

EDIT - And i'm not talking about The Rock.
