Lol I think this is the first time ive ever heard Kofi Kingston talk. Not sure if hes trying to put on an accent or he just has a slight one for real, but if its a fake one its terrible.

      It's fake.

I think he's from the Boston area, I know he went to college there.

Either his father or his mother was born in Ghana.

I'll give Seth Green this - he called for a bikini, six-diva match. Great call.
They should have those more often.

I think this celebrity host thing will wear itself out, but if nothing else, it's added a twist to the ongoing HHH-Orton yawnfest.

I like Mark Henry as a face. His spot with Jericho was kinda funny, even if you knew it was coming.

Who's gonna be Jericho's surprise tag team partner?

Don't worry - Kamala and Abdullah The Butcher aren't from parts unknown or Africa either. They fooled me for years.

Dude was born in Ghana.. so its not like hes pure American bred. There was little reason to believe hes actually of Jamaican descent. He has been living in America majority of his life tho, so the accent is definitely a work, and a terrible one.

In the early 80's, there was a masked heel who worked the Mid Atlantic area by the name of "Mr. Atlanta".

He was billed from "Parts Unknown".

Typical that I just started to like Kennedy and they get rid of him. Not his ring work so much, but his character. Although I really hope he doesn't look at acting as a post-wrestling career, as I watched Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia and he was brutal in it.

Apparently TNA has finally actually signed Bobby Lashley. Just based on the announcement, it looks like they are going to play up the MMA fighter aspect to him.

I read somewhere that Lashley took the TNA deal as a way to make money for his MMA career. It's just a part-time thing.

This is nothing new, Josh Barnett, Ken Shamrock, Kevin Randleman, and many others have split time doing worked pro wrestling to supplement their fighting income.

It was quite common in Japan in the 90's, and still happens somewhat today. The japanese culture dosnt look down their noses at pro wrestling, so it's easier to pull off and much more accepted for a "real" fighter to do this.

I don't have a problem with it. I know pro wrestling is entertainment and have no problem with that.
If a guy wants to do both, all the power to them.
Frankly, I think Lesnar should do the same. Offer his services to the WWE for the odd PPV or just Wrestlemania.
It's win-win. The entertainer makes good cash, the fans get entertained, etc...

And any MMA fan should just accept it too. Lesnar or Lashley dabbling in pro wrestling is no different than them dabbling in Hollywood. It's just entertainment.

The UFC would never allow it. For so many different reasons.

Your typical hardcore MMA fan hates pro wrestling to the core.

                                Why? Who the fuck knows.

"Brock is turning the UFC into the WWE rawr this sucks"

Brock did nothing that Tito Ortiz and many others havent already done. In fact, Brock wasnt really doing pro wrestling at all, because he legit hates Mir, and it wasnt manufactured hate....the same pro wrestling manufactured hate everyone else in UFC does.

But he gets accused of being too "pro wrestling" for one reason-he used to be a pro wrestler. If that was any else cutting the same promo Saturday night, you don't hear the MMA elitists saying anything about WWE like behavior.

What the MMA elitists don't realise, is the sport basically is pro wrestling, just a non worked version. Fights are built the same way, its promoted the same way, the business model of the UFC in nearly identical to WWE, etc.
