Realistically, the Smackdown title match will be fourth from the top at WrestleMania at best, so I can see why they would throw a bone to a second tier guy.

Loved Ziggler/Punk. Cena/Kane was awful.

Ricardo Rodriguez, Road Dogg and Jim Duggan stole the show at the RR.

Not really disappointed in Sheamus winning the Royal Rumble, but I would have loved to see Jericho win to see his reaction on RAW.

Was GREAT to see Duggan and Road Dogg got those kind of pops, casuals need to appreciate how much that shit means to the old timers.. Duggan got his biggest pop in AGES, he probably had tears in his drunken eyes when he went backstage. Road Dogg getting to hear "YOU STILL GOT IT" probably means the world to someone like him, too. The Rumble was really entertaining IMO, the rest of the show was complete shite, other then the FUNKASAURUS.

Ricardo Rodriguez stole the show tho.

Sheamus is the first legit surprise RR winner in a long time, perhaps ever since it meant going to WM.

Road Dogg/Duggan/Ricardo were awesome.

Punk and Ziggler work well together. Even with all the outside stuff, it was solid.

Opener was what I'd expect at a B-PPV match. Its kind of shit to have this kind of match at a BIG 4 PPV.

I grilled some chicken during the sock folder match.

Cena-Kane was awful. Legitimate F- match. Should be ashamed for that effort on both their parts. Cena can do better. Kane, I never expect anything from. He's a scrub.

McIntyre-Funkasaurus. Dud. Had no business being on the card.

Punk-Ziggler. Good match. I think those two work well together. A nice, solid ***1/2 type match. Workmanlike. I'd like to see those two get a legitimate match.

Royal Rumble...50m of shit. A good final few minutes. Unfortunately, no history between Sheamus and Jericho...crowd seemed kind of dead. At least they gave someone new a win. Can't hate on that push. I don't mind the cheap pop entrants, but this Rumble event had way too much shit. All three announcers. Three old guys. You throw them into the match when you have the 40 or whatever...not when you have 30 going.

Overall, pretty uneventful pay per view.
