This year's Royal Rumble was pretty meh. I bought the PPV.
I will give the WWE this ... I didn't expect Sheamus to win. That said, I suspect a swerve before WM that puts Jericho in the main event vs. Punk.
No chance Sheamus is going for a belt in WM.

I always enjoy the oldtimers in the RR ... but all the announcers in RR sucked. One, fine. Two, maybe ... but all three was stupid.

Kharma was a surprise. Did she have her baby? Didn't read. Hope her pregnancy went OK.

Isn't Sheamus on Smackdown? They can do Sheamus vs whoever for the SD belt at WM, because Cena/Rock and Undertaker/HHH are the draws, and CM Punk's match will also be higher on the pecking order.

In reality, Sheamus just won himself a mid card match.

But you may be right ... a mid-card match at WM.

Honestly fellas (c wut i did that?)...its pretty obvious they see Sheamus as a top guy in the company. He's the #2 face on SD behind Orton.

Its not ridiculous for them to put him in the title match...he's probably the company's #4 regular face (Cena/Orton/Punk/Sheamus). Not crazy for them to put him in the mid-card title match at WrestleMania. He won't be headlining...no harm, no foul.

Thing is dave, I can promise you that you haven't even seen one of his 100 best matches. So if you like him now, if he ever gets the chance to be a true main eventer and have long matches with creative freedom, watch out. The dude is an artist.

The best thing would be to have Danielson lose the title, but not actually be pinned or submitted.

Just get the belt off of him. I thought the Cage match would have been a good opportunity for that...have Show or Henry pin one another (those big fucks aren't going to climb and get out of the cage)...but whatever.

Eh, I am not really feeling him as a champion going into the biggest event of the year.

I like Danielson a lot, but I'm not going to let it cloud my judgment that what he's got is your token crap title reign. At least he's developed into a heel of sorts, so that's good, but I like it when a champ looks strong. Danielson is the token "lucky" champ. I don't ever really get into those programs.

I agree...I just don't think its "champion going into WrestleMania" quality.

Hes making the best of a terrible champion gimmick. Im pretty surprised how well his personality has developed. It reminds me of his subtle heel stuff from 2006, but amplified.

He's a real life nice guy...its tough to make those guys heels.

The Rock is the nicest guy you'll meet...maybe one of the few real nice guys whose heel persona rose above the rest when he's not really a dick in real life. You just capitalize on his quick wit and sense of humor, and amplify those aspects...Bryan doesn't have those, but he does have this bit of a dry sarcasm to him that is being amplified.

Its not overly natural, but he's doing some really good work with it.
