Some good performances today overshadowed by our keepers conceding 2 penalties. Henderson, amazingly, did well at right back and was running all game. Shelvey and Bellamy both looked good but both missed passes that could have have led to 2 more goals. Coates was respectable and has to be chosen over Carra from now on. Skrtel looked better today and did well as captain. Agger definitely energized the team when he came on. Maxi deserves more first team chances as well. Carroll was big in the end but was below average through out, especially missing a point blank header.

Considering Maxi continues to get goals and never got a place ahead of Kuyt. I know they're not exactly similar players, but they bring essentially the same thing to the game (except Kuyt is not scoring). Agger is clearly a huge asset to the squad too, he makes you guys better defensively and in attack.

I'd like to see Maxi ahead of Kuyt, even though I love Kuyt, especially when we've got a more experienced side out there. Kuyt is great in games where we are behind, or where someone needs to cover a guy like Flanagan. However he isn't all that great technically, whereas Maxi is solid with the ball and know wheres to be too.

Agger and Skrtel may be the best partnership in the Premier League. They compliment each other very well.

Kenny's going to have a hell of a time picking a team for Saturday. Carroll has to be in to build on his confidence and obviously Suarez will play with him. Gerrard likely in the center, Downing on the left and our usual back four. That leaves on center mid spot and one spot on the right. Shelvey, Hendo, Spearing could all play in the center, then Maxi or Kuyt on the right. I've got a feeling he puts Hendo on the right which sucks because he's no good there and is much better in the middle. Stevie on the right wouldn't be all bad either.

Andy the hero again. Suarez finish was great too although he probably should've tapped it to Andy. Carroll also should've had another goal and Maxi should've gotten one too at the end there.

Anyways, awesome to be headed to the final, I've got a feeling we'll be playing Chelsea.
