UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon (Bones) Jones has been arrested for DUI.
Jones' management confirmed in a statement that the 24-year-old mixed martial arts fighter was arrested early Saturday.
Jones manager Malki Kawa said in the release: "While the facts of this situation are still being gathered and situated, First Round Management fully supports Jon and we are asking for fans and media to respect the privacy of Jon and his family during this time."
TMZ reported that Jones was arrested after crashing his Bentley around 5 a.m. in Binghamton, N.Y.
Jones (16-1) makes his home in Endicott, N.Y., when not training in Albuquerque.
Jones became the UFC's youngest ever champion when he defeated Mauricio (Shogun) Rua at UFC 128 in March 2011.
