UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon (Bones) Jones has been arrested for DUI.
Jones' management confirmed in a statement that the 24-year-old mixed martial arts fighter was arrested early Saturday.
Jones manager Malki Kawa said in the release: "While the facts of this situation are still being gathered and situated, First Round Management fully supports Jon and we are asking for fans and media to respect the privacy of Jon and his family during this time."
TMZ reported that Jones was arrested after crashing his Bentley around 5 a.m. in Binghamton, N.Y.
Jones (16-1) makes his home in Endicott, N.Y., when not training in Albuquerque.
Jones became the UFC's youngest ever champion when he defeated Mauricio (Shogun) Rua at UFC 128 in March 2011.
Maybe now he wont act like such a smug goodie two shoes.

Past Jones quote from USA today...

"I'm very comfortable with the UFC putting me out there and trying to use me as one of the guys to promote the sport and bring it to a new level," Jones told USA TODAY last month. "I think if I was a knucklehead and I was a guy who you would have to worry about getting a DWI or going out and doing something really stupid, they simply wouldn't promote me. I think they see the guy that I am and they trust that, even though I'm a 24-year-old, I'm a trustworthy 24-year-old."

Loretta Hunt with info on the two women in the car with Bones that night...

Michelle L. Vojtisek and Cara Johnson, both 25, sustained cuts, bruises and swelling from the collision and were transported to Wilson Hospital for treatment, according to the report. Both air bags had been deployed during the crash.

Johnson, who was in the front passenger seat, attended Union-Endicott High with Jones, according to online records.

An uninjured Jones had "slurred speech and glassy bloodshot eyes," smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet when asked to step out of his vehicle, wrote the arresting officer.

The fighter "politely refused" multiple requests to take sobriety and breathalyzer tests at the scene and after he was arrested and taken into custody, said Binghamton Police Dept. Captain John Chapman. Toxicology tests were not conducted, as there were no serious injuries, said Chapman.
                        For shame mister family man.
