Teams are seeded based on their UEFA co-efficent and then drawn from a hat. Poland was automatically seeded as hosts in Pot A. They then rank all other 14 teams in 4 separate pots and draw a team from each pot. Could have been Poland/Germany/Portugal/France or any other combination of pots

If Wojech hadn't got tossed, I'd say Poland had a chance against them. Russia's defence is pretty slow, so I think the Dortmund trio could make some chances down the right wing

I caught some of the Russia/Czech Republic game at work. They had it on one of the flat screens outside the offices, so I could only catch so much of the action and didn't see too much. The highlights showed some really nice goals by Russia. Really looking forward to watching the Germany/Portugal match later today. Already have my Germany jersey on while I fold laundry lol.

Netherlands really need to start finishing their chances, Denmark needs to stop making stupid turnovers.

Gotta give props to Denmark. They didn't sit back in the second-half and simply try to hold on to their lead, they continued to attack. They had a few chances on crosses that went long that may have given them additional scoring opportunities, but, I am sure it is much easier said than done to place the perfect touch on the ball in those situations. Netherlands are really in a hole now with Germany and Portugal up next for them. They had so many chances, they just couldn't find the goal. I'm sure that is something they'll want to remedy in preparation for Germany.

Holland, good with the ball, bad without it. Good at retaining the ball, bad at re-collecting it. Pretty damn lethargic, maybe it was too hot for them.
