You'd like to think that he was doing it on purpose, but actually he just sucks that much.

Italy had many more chances than England, but Balotelli is terrible at finishing. Italy used to have guys like Iznaghi and Gilardino who were more of the poaching type. Balotelli is great at winning the ball and gaining position, but he doesn't have the final touch.

That guy for Italy right now is Cassano. But the cokehead played like shit yesterday. Im surprised the faggot Prandelli didn't bring in Giovinco or Di Natale instead of Diamanti, but he did bring my dude Nocerino.

Apparently the most common passing combination for England was Hart to Carroll which I find hilarious. But yeah Carroll actually looked pretty good.

Joe Hart always does that on penalties. He's a very confident/cocky player, so this wasn't something new he does. It's just part of his nature to help get himself in the zone...so obviously when he doesn't stop a PK its going to look bad. Shit is a coin toss anyway so I ain't even mad about him losing in a shoot out. He was a huge reason to why they even made it to extra time/penalties.

Carroll is an absolute monster in the air. He'll pretty much win anything you put up there its just someone has to be where he's going to put the ball. Several times you'd see him win it, control it and bring it down and then he'd be all alone with guys making runs that he just can't get the ball too because he isn't skilled enough. So then you see him try and create space and obviously he turns it over. I don't think England really set up a gameplan in which Carroll was to win the ball and knock it to a teammate.

Imo England did about as well as they possibly could have this tournament, Roy is the perfect manager for them right now. Interested to see how they do when Wilshere, Cleverly, Ox, etc. and healthy and matured.

QFT. In all the games they played. The center of the field was there weakest spot. Some growing and unity for the future and they might be half decent. But they need to learn to pass though. Cuz that sucked.
