Dana said on the call that if Jones turns that fight down, there will be a second media call today, and it will be very bad news for Jones.

So basically, they are forcing Jones's hand here. I can't kill them for that. Machida is next in line anyway, and he has plenty of time to prepare. Plus Jones used his mulligan on Sonnen

Too many shows = weak shows that nobody will buy = Dana hitting rock bottom and cancelling the entire fucking thing. Then blaming a guy who doesn't want to fight on 8 days notice for the undercard guys missing a pay day. GTFO. Pay them, or stfu with blaming Jones. Money where your mouth is.

Would have sucked for people who bought tickets to such a garbage show, but again, that's on Dana for too many shows, and on fans for buying tix too far in advance. People should know better in today's environment to run out and buy UFC tix months in advance. The show is going to change 19 times.

I don't understand why they would not want to fight him next week and instead fighting next month. They've been training for Dan Henderson and Chael Sonnen doesn't even have that kind of striking power that 1 punch knockout power. So why not just fight in 8 days?

Yeah, but UFC tix are expensive and hard to get... you have to get them quickly. Like I said- have 2 events each month- Jan- Fuel tv card 2 weeks later FOX card. Feb- FX card- 2 weeks later PPV, now we can get rid of the bum fighters and send them to Legacy FC or One Fc whatever. Dana should understand less is more. pride was successful because when you bought those cards you had multiple main events in todays standards on one card.
