Dana white went to Chael so its a little different then Chael just calling him out and not getting the fight. Canceling a card because he won't fight someone out of shape is pathetic and I lost a lot of respect for Jon jones.

Ok, this is starting to become positive, UFC 151 is stacked and Ufc on fx 5 got Hieron vs Ellenberger, all we need to do is bring ufc on fx 6 to PA and I love mma again!

I'm not going to say Sonnen deserves the fight, he didn't, but he was offered a fight against a very tough guy in which he would get locked out of his second weight division title talk if he lost and he took it. I'll give him some props for that because if he lost, he wasn't going to get a shot until one of two dominant champions loses or retires.

But I did lose respect for Jones. He wouldn't have really achieved anything by winning, but he still should have taken it. The idea of a champion means he should take any fight, any time. He has already said he doesn't want to fight Silva because it could cost him sponsorships, he doesn't want to fight Machida because of pay per view numbers, but you cannot always pick your battles. Jones hurt his own marketability, his persona, and his sport by not taking the fight.
