This doesn't belong here, but I've said it 100 times. If you give me a good quality stream at a good price, I will watch almost anything. I don't have cable anymore, but love my NBA Game Time sub ($100 for the whole season). I wish more leagues provided that option. Instead I just end up getting it at slightly lower quality for free off FirstRow
Another free "Wrestling is Fun" iPPV this Saturday (11/17)

Devastation Corporation squash match. Awesome.
What a great gimmick. They act like they are from the 80's and do a Road Warriors/Demolition gimmick with an 80's style sleazeball manager. The manager cuts promos talking about how they've dominated "all of the territories", from Mid South to Memphis to Portland, and how they've come to dominate here. Then they do 80's style Road Warriors squashes.
Very entertaining.Comment

Nice. I used to go to Stampede Wrestling in one of its iterations and crowds were this size. Fun time, but I don't think we have anything like it anymoreComment

What does a guy at this level make? Is the goal for most to make a payday with WWE/TNA or is Japan more likely?Comment

There are some established CHIKARA/indie guys working this, like Fire Ant, Gran Akuma, Icarus, etc but obviously by looking at what they drew you can reasonably figure that they aren't being paid much.
As far as aspirations, im sure most of these guys have designs on making it big, but there may be a weekend warrior or two who just do it for fun. Mike Quackenbush owns CHIKARA, he's the biggest name on the show, and his opponent Mr. Touchdown is a legit prospect who has a very good chance at working a major promotion some day. There are a couple of others on this show who have worked bigger indies and in Japan, like Fire Ant and one or two others.Comment

Crowd was getting a little rowdy at the end, Good main event though that'll probably be the best wrestling match I'll see all weekend.Comment
