Ohno is wearing a shirt with Misawa elbowing some m'fer in the face. Fuck yeah! I would totally wear that...like to bed, or on laundry day, never in public, but I would totally wear that. Awesome shirt.

It's obsure enough that you could MAYBE get away with it. Until someone asks what it means, then you're screwed.

Sorry the more I look at it, it's clearly a wrestler doing a wrestling move to someone. Yeah, great lounging around the house shirt. That's it.

                NXT 6/12

Going to be a big night in NXT. Bo Dallas will take on Big E Langston for the NXT Title. They've hyped this up as a big deal...I've read the spoilers, so I know it WILL be a big deal. So, I'm pretty hyped for this episode.

-El Sami Zayn v. Antonio Cesaro II - This.match.is.so.good. Cesaro is the pissed off, hard hitting, established strongman. Zayn is the upstart, resiliant, fighting babyface. This might be the best match of the year in NXT. Its right there with the Regal/Ohno match. So good. MUST WATCH. I want Zayn-Cesaro III at the next taping.

Interview with Bayley, who is seemingly playing a retard.

Leo Kruger promo package. Someone get this guy a manager.

-Baron Corbin & Travis Tyler v. Scott Dawson & Garrett Dylan - They are obviously looking to establish this Dylan and Dawson tag team. The "southern boys" tag team is such a dated and cliche concept though. When you got crazy ideas like the Wyatt Family and The Ascension in NXT while the main roster has The Uso's, Prime Time Playas, Team Hell No and The Shield...all groups that standout...this generic southern boys tag team just doesn't interest me. The southern boys win with an Arn Anderson spinebuster and some off the top hijinx.

OHNO SHIRT WATCH - He changes up the Misawa shirt and is now wearing a Cloud Kicker shirt.

-Bayley v. Alicia Fox - Bayley has a Triceratops on her trunks. A TRICERATOPS! That's all got to say about this one. I fast forwarded this one and I guess Alicia Fox wins.

Awesome Wyatt Family promo package. Fantabulous. Seeing Bray Wyatt's character evolve in the NXT bubble has been awesome. He started out as a bit more of a subtle crazy southern preacher...now he's just fucking crazy shouting jibberish. Its awesome.

-Big E Langston (C) v. Bo Dallas - Big match feel. Bo Dallas out first. He's hamming it up as a face, but is getting booed by everyone. Big E out next. Bo Dallas is one charasma-less lesbian. The match isn't terrible. It was layed out nicely. The ending falls a bit flat, but, Bo Dallas wins the NXT Title...crowd is sad, boos the fuck out of him. I don't get Bo Dallas and I probably never will. It was about time Big E lost the title anyway. He's an absolute regular on the main roster and I doubt we'll see him much in NXT going forward. The Full Sail crowd will definitely miss him. He was usually the most over guy in the building.

Bon Voyage, Big E. I'll rock your original theme tonight in memorium.

Anyway...this is a MUST WATCH NXT. The Cesaro-Zayn match is a appointment viewing. You should watch the Title Change...because its a title change. Good episode...will watch Zayn-Cesaro II again.

Such a sh**ty copy of the show. It is free though, and worth is for Zayn vs Cesaro. Kudos.

                      NXT 6/19

-Adrian Neville v. Bray Wyatt - Pretty mundane match before the heel shenanigans get going. Wyatt Family interferes...Ohno and Graves run down to the ring...down comes Dusty, sets up a six man tag match with the faces v. The Wyatt Family.

-El Sami Zayn v. Angelo Dawkins - They get about four minutes and Zayn makes this jobber look decent.

-Sasha Banks v. Summer Rae - Fast forwarded through this one. I stopped right as Summer Rae gets the three count.

Xavier Woods promo. Dude is a goofball...and he closed with "ITS MORPHIN TIME!" I'm sold.

-Jake Carter v. Xavier Woods - This dude is wild...loved him as Consquences Creed. I guess he finally graduated from college and they are gonna use him more often now. Dude's got a super personality. Kids will love this guy in time. HE FUCKING YELLS "ITS MORPHIN TIME" BEFORE THE GO-HOME SEQUENCE!!! Fantastic. Finisher is the 'Eat DeFeet' move that Gail Kim uses.

Zayn promo. ZAYN-CESARO III NOW NOW NOW!!!

Sylvester LeFort and the Southern Boys (do they have a name?) set up a number one contenders match next week.

Bo Dallas on Tout. Die, twink. He calls his fans "Bo-lievers" DIE IN A FIRE, FAGGOT.

Adrian Neville/Corey Graves/Kassius Ohno v. The Wyatt Family - Heels win with no heel shenanigans. I love how they book Neville's finisher. Its all or nothing. If he hits it...Game Over. If he misses it...Game Over for him. Heels win clean show ends with them posing at the top of the ramp.

Anyway...show was pretty average. You got a couple of decent advancement matches and an alright six-man tag main event. If you got 50 minutes to kill and just want to sit back and watch some good ol wrestling, check it out. I tend to like these kind of shows more than most...I can just sit back, watch, and not think too much. Its just a wrestling show. Nothing makes me pop, but nothing insults me either.

                        NXT 6/26

-Big E Langston v. Aiden English - Oooooo, jobber squash. Can't wait. I really wish Big E's grand finale was another epic encounter with Memo Montenegro instead This one lasted a legit 30 seconds. Three moves of doom style.

Emma is wearing an EMMAlution shirt. I want it.

-Aksana v. Emma - Won't fast forward an Emma match...just can't do it. Emma makes all your troubles go away like bubbles. I really would like to have some sex with Aksana with them big ol fake titties and womanly hips. She looks like a budget priced call girl. I'm really just watching this shit so I can see the Muta Lock WITH THE DANCE. Now, I'll have this epic theme song in my head for another week.

-Leo Kruger v. Dante Dash - Dante Dash is former Rutgers likebacker Teon Freeman. Anyway...my nigga Leo Kruger is back after a shoulder injury...you can still see the scaring on his shoulder. I just dig Kruger's style in the ring. He just needs a fucking manager for fuck's sake. Is Kimchi still available? Anyone who uses the London Dungeon as their finisher is good by me. Extended squash.

-Bo Dallas v. Mickey Keegan - I thought this guy's name was Axel Keegan? Did they really change the dude's first name because of Curtis Axel? This will be a squash. I'm fast forwarding. I stop and it looks like my dude Leo Kruger is the next challenger for the title.

Wait...do the Bellas actually have a reality show on E? Oh lawd.

-Kassius Ohno/Corey Graves v. The Unnamed Southern Tag Team - If there is ever a deadend gimmick in the WWE in 2013, its the "Southern Boy"...anyway, Hero is looking pretty flabby these days. You know, I'd probably put over the Southern Boys here. I think the WWE should capitalize on what The Shield has done in that, they went over every pair of established stars they just threw together, putting over the idea of a real team beats random thrown together tag teams. And, The Shield got over because of it. They should try bringing back a real tag team division and try and get some more guys over that way. But I digress. Graves and Ohno win...they'll face the Wyatts and the Wyatts run down for some post match shenanigans. Somehow, Regal ends up in the ring...whatever.

This is an incredibly skippable show. Don't waste your time.

There has been a ton of squashes from the past few sets of tapings.

Read in the Observer this week that the primary NXT writer (not Rob Naylor, who is rumored to be possibly on the way out) got promoted to Smackdown. Seems the company pays attention now and noticed the quality of the show.

This might explain the drop in quality of NXT, although I don't know exactly when the move went down.

David Kreizman was talked into staying as head writer until mid-August. They talked him into it both because his original direction of things were building to SummerSlam and they asked him to stay until the completion of his direction. Plus, they want him to help train whoever they hire as a replacement. There was a feeling that the new person starting now would have problems with the pressure building to SummerSlam, whereas now he can ease into the role, then be able to get comfortable from September through December before the January pressure starts.

Kreizman, the third head writer so far this year, after Erik Pankowski and Adam Rudman were both fired. Kreizman was described as an organizer who ran the division. He wasn’t working on the road. The lead writer role is about putting together a team and hiring writers, as well as presenting the finished product to Vince McMahon. Stephanie McMahon’s role has been minimized, as she’s only involved when she needs to be. Brian James has been put into creative because they want someone who has a pro wrestling side perspective to be in with the soap opera and TV writers, since Michael Hayes isn’t in the office regularly any longer. Hayes is on conference via phone at the major meetings, but they want a wrestling person at the meetings as well. When it comes to all the rewrites on Mondays and Tuesdays, the person in charge has been David Kapoor (Ranjin Singh), although his position has changed. That didn’t mean Kapoor had great influence. He’s just the guy who delegates the workload to the writers on the road team after Vince McMahon makes all the changes, and also interacts with the TV people, the apps people and the web site people to make sure they all know the new changed direction from the day before.

The 6/24 show for the first time in weeks had minimal changes from how the show was presented on 6/21. Cena and Punk had already gone through and approved their segments before the final script was presented.

There were more changes in the writing crew this week. Kapoor, is now a show runner.

Ed Koskey has become the lead writer for Raw. Ryan Ward, who got rave reviews for his work as the writer for NXT, has been given a promotion to lead writer of Smackdown.

There has been an abnormal number of squashes (not necessarily a bad thing) and you can tell the direction is in a bit of a holding pattern. The goal was to get the titles off Big E and the Wyatt's because those four guys are going to be full time roster guys going forward. There just hasn't been the normal building that NXT normally does. The quality overall, not necessarily down...I mean, you got some matches in there that are fine, its just an abnormal number of squashes make for the shows to be ones that aren't "must watch".
