Interesting, this is the photo on the home page if you choose the Japanese version of the site. New Japan clearly making a strong effort to market outside Japan with the foreigners featured on the English version in the OP:

I didn't see the Jap promo 'shop first...but I saw the American one and I thought to myself "God damn, that's a lot of Americans on a Jap show"...

      Now I know why.

      Can't wait...dis gon b epic.

      Okada v. Tanahashi III

      OH MY DAMN.

Closest thing wrestling has had to a Super Fight in a decade?

No Alex Shelley, which means no Jr Tag title match. That's a letdown.

I don't need THREE throwaway six man "get everybody a payoff" matches. Jeez.

Nagata vs Suzuki is going to be awesome.

If Shelton Benjamin feels like working, that's a real sleeper match against Masato Tanaka.

I love the symbolism of Muto teaming with Daichi Hashimoto against TenKoji.

I think Nakamura will drag a good match out of Sakuraba.

Not crazy about the idea of a 3-way in the context of New Japan, but since its Devitt, Low Ki, and Ibushi, it should be nuts.

Looking forward to the tag title match.

The main event, obviously, will be tits. Bart Scott can't wait.

Cena v. Rock without a title on the line was a great drawing power match...I just don't see it as a Super Fight in the same way I see Okada-Tanahashi...the Japs have a more organic Super Fight.

Probably because they don't wrestle every week on TV and against each other on every PPV.

There are people who can run off every Kobashi/Misawa match, with finishes, instantly. Try that with Cena/Punk or Rock/HHH.

Looking forward to this. The only thing I'm looking forward to in wrestling at this point.

                    After thinking about it...

                    Rock-Cena was a "Dream Match"...but Tanahashi-Okada III is a Super Fight.

Continuing this Tanahashi/Okada vs Cena/Rock theme, I think what puts the New Japan match ahead for me, aside from what is pretty much guaranteed to be top level workrate and a potential legendary match/moment, is that the outcome is truly in doubt.

We all know Cena is getting his win back, especially if Rock is champion. Last year's match was far more compelling, because there were people on both sides of the fence concerning the outcome. I loved that match and thought it was edge of your seat stuff.

It has been a long time since wrestling produced an organic super fight...

                          Three changes to the show...

-Daichi Hashimoto broke his arm on Christmas Eve and is off the card. He's being replaced by fellow Zero-One wrestler and former New Japan/WCW cruiserwieght Shijiro Otahni. Real bummer. This was to be Hashimoto's New Japan debut, and the match had a ton of symbolism, with Shiya Hashimoto's kid teaming with Muto in the Dome against two other guys from the 90's era. Oh well.

-Two of the three throwaway six man's are now dark matches. I'm guessing these will be 'free' preview matches on the iPPV broadcast.

-The third six man has added Bob Sapp to the heel side and Akebono to the face side. Meh. Would have been a really big deal a decade ago. Not sure if they mean anything now.

                              Wait a cotton picking second.

                              NAKAMURA VS. SAKURABA?!?!?

If this is 1/10 as awesome in reality as it seems on paper, the world may explode. I love Nakamura's punkish heel (best way I can describe it) persona.

DEVITT VS. LOW KI VS. IBUSH?!?!?!

Not even talking about Tanahashi/Okada 3.

This is how you kick off the new year.
