Lockout is over

1. Blackouts will hit me bad. The only leaf games I'll get is saturdays since games on the other networks will be blacked out on center ice ect.
2. Streaming means more money. I already pay a shit ton for internet and with the caps in place I am constantly going over just based off normal usage.
3. Playoffs are an issue since random blackouts happen constantly.

If it's nationally televised in Canada, it's blacked out, which means all playoff games. Already been down that road with them. Seems like you have no choice.Comment

WTF you must have a ton of porn stored. I stream a couple hundred hours of content to no real damage to my cap. Regardless if streaming means more money...is it the same money as cable?

ROFL cable company trolling me
Me - "I'm calling to cancel the cancel I had on my cable tv at the end of Jan."
Cable company - "You still want leafstv and the NHL network with it right"
Me - "..."
Cable company - "Your around the 50th person to surprisingly want cable tv this morning so it was a good guess since I could see your old package"
Kudos cable dude.

Anyway, living in NY we get like 4-5 in-market games at a time on certain nights so it's pretty easy to follow a good portion of the league between that and the NBC Sports games. Gonna go all in on the ISLESWAGON this year since they are coming to my backyard eventually.Comment

That's why the Leafs fans photo'd on the front of the news today....were wearing jays hats. This city is a trendy hipster town, they follow the in thing and that's the Blue Jays, no doubt.Comment

Well, I don't really give a shit
That being said, Yakupov and Nugent Hopkins played well at the World Jrs (and Nuge/Hall/Eberle/Shultz were doing well with the Barons), so I am a little bit excited to see them get back at it. Dubnyk played well at the Spengler Cup (not that anyone cared). Still not super sold on the defence, but I'm also not even sure who we have at this pointComment

I have to call DTV to unsubscribe to Center Ice this year. I got NBA League Pass because I didn't think they would reach an agreement, so I don't want my bill to be any higher. Saying all that...I will get it again next year. I doubt they will care that a guy from Houston unsubscribes to their package.
edit: I'll watch this season online.Comment
