Caps lose another close game, this time with a late power play goal, but at least Neuvirth is playing well in net and seems to have finally taken hold of the starting job.

Yak scores another OT winner. If there are celebrations to get angry about, last nights came off a bit pompous. Derek Morris certainly didn't like it and tried to get himself a piece

I didn't get the big deal from Phoenix's point of view. They just won the game in OT and he didn't make that big of a deal about it, just tried to gather his teammates to celebrate.

Nothing to do with Yak. Derek Morris goes straight to the referee complaining about a hand pass and Ryan Whitney starts chirping him. Morris even skating away to the benches until Whitney bumps into him.

For sure - Had nothing to do with Yak. Just watched the footage of it. Whitney instigates the trouble with Morris who was pointing out it was a hand pass. Which form the replay, it sure looked like a hand pass to me. IMO should not have been a goal but all well.

Damn that Caps/Leafs game was pretty exciting...But once again the Caps give up 2 goals in the 3rd to lose 3-2. Really amazing that it took Toronto that long to break through, Neuvirth played his ass off they had so many chances.

Stupid stat, and obviously lockout influenced, but that was the first home win for the leafs in 301 days.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

Leafs should of won that game by 7 goals. The amount of missed net shots was hilarious.

                    Oh well

Kadri and Frat-Boy have some really good chemistry together on the same line.

Dubnyk played really well to keep the Oilers in it against the Sharks. Couldn't give them their first loss, but an SO point is OK after the first games shellacking

                          LOL @ Montreal

The flashy defenceman's first job will be adapting to a new regime that puts team ideas ahead of individual skill.

Already, goalie Carey Price said the post-victory triple-low-five celebrations he used to do with Subban have been banned. Only team celebrations are now tolerated. The Canadiens this season skate to centre ice after wins and raise their sticks to the fans.

"It's a team concept," said Therrien of the team rule. "You have to respect the game, the other team and the fans.

"The way we decided to celebrate this year is to salute the fans because they deserve it."

Banning a hand slap because it is not team first. Fucking people need to get off this shit.

Couple of things that were missed by the refs last night. I hope there's some supplemental discipline but I doubt it.

Very dangerous play, can not believe this is not being reviewed or how it was missed.

Can't find any video but Dougie Hamilton took a nasty elbow to the head by Drew Stafford. The kind of hit to the head I have seen many players suspended for.

Erskine is definitely going to get a suspension for a blatant elbow to the head of Simmonds tonight that didn't get called, no clue how the refs missed it. The first period of the Flyers/Caps game tonight has to be the worst officiated period I've seen in a while, and that's saying something.

Wait till you see the Backes ejection. Might be the oddest thing I've ever seen.
