After looking at it some more I think he just got his left leg caught with Karlsson's right leg going into the corner. The stomp looks shady, but if you pause the video you posted at the 11 second mark, you can see that Cooke has his leg behind/under Karlsson's leg as he tries to regain balance. It is Matt Cooke though, so I wouldn't put this below him.

The entire HF Rangers boards, including me, are filled with dread whenever this team gets a powerplay, even when it becomes a 5 on 3 the prevailing wisdom is that it is going to hurt us. Sure enough we've gone from up 2-1 to down 3-2 in about 5 minutes, 4 of which we spent with at least a man advantage.

Brad Richards by the way, is a prime candidate for that second compliance buyout. Richards' $6.67m cap hit expires in 2020 when he will be 39. He's 32 right now, but he already looks 39. We need to get rid of him, he will become a chain if he isn't already.
