Three ****+ matches. Two damn near close to four.

Out fucking standing card. That main event had a lot to live up to and it exceeded it. One of the best in-ring stories told in a long time.

Would die if Cena does a similar finish tomorrow.

Actually, The Rock should. Then lose at Extreme Rules.

I'm so pumped up right now, someplace in between ECW One Night Stand pumped up, and I just saw KENTA/Nigel at Hammerstein pumped up. I was marking out like a lunatic during that match.

New Japan in a couple of hours. CANT WAIT.

All I have to say to that, Joe...

        Gabe is a smart motherfucker.

He basically fantasy booked the Cena-Rock match with his own guys and it ended up being a fucking classic. Smart fucking move. You got your super over babyface champion...who is never say die, will fight until the bitter end as a face, won't cheat...and at the end of the best match of his career, an epic slugfest against this insanely over, insanely good foreigner that he just can't beat and you feel at any minute he is going to make his huge babyface comeback...

        but NO!

Heel comeback...heel tactics to overcome the odds. That shit was done to absolute perfection. Everyone still here is STILL talking about it.

Best match of the year right now. What a fucking match.

They managed to overshadow the Bucks title win, which was outstanding as well.

I feel like gabe trolled us to perfection. Probably had this shit planned for a year.

Just when Gargano is on the cusp of becoming another version of Super Cena, just when we are on the cusp of getting sick of this comeback shit, they yank the rug out and turn the m'fer. The timing was impeccable.

And based on that post match promo, he's going to be doing that smarmy, over-the-top babyface type character that is actually a heel, like early Honky Tonk Man.

            Love it. LOVE IT.

This weekend started slow, but has shifted into high gear and is now going at 90mph.

Jay Lethal v. Michael Elgin @ SuperCard of Honor VII
American Wolves v. reDRagon @ SuperCard of Honor VII
Kevin Steen v. Jay Briscoe @ SuperCard of Honor VII
              Mike Quackenbush/Jushin Liger v. Jigsaw/Shard @ CHIKARA
              Ricochet v. Tozawa @ DGUSA
              Young Bucks v. CIMA/AR Fox @ DGUSA
Johnny Gargano v. SHINGO @ DGUSA

All go out of your way must sees.

              Then you got

              AR Fox v. Ricochet @ Evolve 19
Uhaa Nation v. Sami Callihan @ DGUSA
              Chuck Taylor Invitational @ DGUSA
Super Smash Brothers v. EITA/Tomahawk TT @ DGUSA
Karl Anderson v. Roddy Strong @ SuperCard of Honor VII
Young Bucks v. Super Smash Brothers

As good matches that are great little complimentary matches to the big hitters. All ***+.

I gotta give MAJOR props to fucking AR Fox. That dude might be gay...but that dude has stamina for days. This guy has worked a Hulk Hogan schedule in the past two days, crossing date lines three times and everything. Three matches at Evolve 19. He worked the opener at CZW. Worked tonight's DGUSA card. He might have been one of the Los Plantanos for all I know. Not a soft match or gimmes in the bunch.

                Fuck it.

                I'm giving Gargano/SHINGO *****.

I'm a man of conviction. ****3/4 match put over the top by A+ booking.

I was told the seven man opener in CZW was great, also Fish vs Edwards, and Elgin vs Anderson at the ROH tapings.

I don't know who he was wrestling, but I was told by several people that the Masada match at CZW was "insane". Blood everywhere. The guy Masada was wrestling has a Sabu moment where he cut a huge hole in himself.

btw - The crowd for DGUSA was fantastic. A lot more people there tonight than last night. I thought it was a little more than CHIKARA but not more than ROH last night. The crowd was very much into WrestleCon most of the day.

A TON of old school wrestlers were here. I heard Hogan was here but didn't go out of my way. I did see DDP and Jake Roberts hanging out outside when I got here. Jake Roberts looks like a new fucking man. Dude was smiling ear to ear. Was awesome to see. Hung out with Christina Von Eerie for a little bit. She is actually kind of cute in person when her hair is down. Real cool chick, too. She plays the guitar, which I did not know.

I guess before the chick show this afternoon, they had the "Con" part of WrestleCon. A flood of legends and stuff were here. Colt Cabana and a few other guys were advertising little QnA's and shit that was located down the road or in little meeting rooms here. Money and Merch were flowing like water.

I can not imagine this NOT being the biggest money making day in the history of these companies. Good for the talent, too. I would think a guy like AR Fox made more money in the past two days as a wrestler than he has ever before. You got guys working 3-4-5 times over the course of 3-4 days, and there has been no bullshit. If you're working, YOU'RE WORKING. The fans here have not accepted shit. If you aren't there to entertain, the fans have straight up, sat on their hands. The talent that got the crowd to react earned every bit of it.

You can definitely tell a huge difference with the talent, too. At Evolve and the DGUSA show. At the DG show, they were doing everything to get the crowd up. It is obvious Gabe and Co. took notice of the flat crowd yesterday and made it a point to get the talent to make sure they hype the crowd.

Gabe, in that regard booked a great show...he opened up with Rich Swan and Kendrick. Who doesn't love Rich Swan? One of the nicest dudes, very much charismatic. Before the show got started, he was out there getting the crowd to sing. He and Kendrick had a really solid match, perfect opener.

Unfortunately, Larry Dallas and Jon Davis are vacuums. No one likes them and there is nothing you can do to get over the segments they are in. You had a face turn and Trent, who the crowd wants to cheer for. No luck. But once the crowd got what they want from a fucking DGUSA show, flippy flops and great action...they were very into it. I was going BONKERS during some of the matches. The Gargano match had me going HAM on some trog sitting next to me as I was hitting the fuck out of his shoulder marking out to the near falls.

Definitely, if you got love from this crowd, you 100% earned it. They have no accepted shit. And, I thought Gabe had a great overnight turnaround between Evolve and the DGUSA show. Kudos to CHIKARA, too...which ran long as fuck (seriously, Gabe, nor Quack nor Delirious at ROH gave a FUCK about time constraints). "Our show is over, when its over"...but was really good at getting the crowd hyped up and delivered good matches.

NJPW starts in about 90 minutes...no fuckungvway I'm staying up. BUT I hope Nakamura & Davey Boy Jr. tear the house down.

                            Oh yeah, Tanahashi/Okada 4, too. ;)

Dude was awesome last year when he was doing the fake Naoki Tanizawa gimmick, and he got over instantly tonight. He's good.

Oh, and sorry to keep rambling, but I've drank a bit.

Some dude went to the TNA show last night and said Styles is basically doing a Sting gimmick, wearing all black and shit and being all emo.
