If AJ is only going to lose it back to Okada, what will be next for him? Tanahashi, or will he be busy with Shibata. I just hope he's not saddled in Bullet Club six mans for the second half of his contract.

The main event was booked exactly how it needed to be, and exactly how I laid it out on the podcast, so clearly they listen to the show. I'll take credit for it. You're welcome, I saved New Japan from North American Russo hell.
I've always believed Suzuki fucking around with Yano for so long is based on the idea that they just don't have anything of merit for Suzuki right now. Which sucks, but at least he is in SOMETHING. So, I've been able to brush it off.

I haven't had too much of a problem with Styles New Japan run so far. They try and portray him as a bigger star than he is...but whatever...he goes in, takes over Bullet Club, immediately wins the title with help from Bullet Club, comes to the states, defends his title in a three-way with Okada in it, Okada stays strong because Styles wins the match in a heely way, then Styles goes over Okada clean back in Japan.

They've situated themselves well, but now I'm interested where they are going next with all of this.

I'm also really on the edge of my seat for these Ibushi matches versus heavyweights...he is going to win one eventually and I just have a feeling it'll be a special moment.

I think Tanahashi is done as far as the title mix. I think his body is shot so that's why he's in a tag team deal now. I can see the occasional big singles match on the biggest shows, like the eventual Shibata match, but other than that I think he's finished as a headlining singles guy.

As far as Styles, I can see Bullet Club turning on him after he loses the title, with Anderson assuming the lead role. Then he can have a nice run as a babyface, which will open up new matches (including Anderson).

Bo-llet Club featuring NXT's jobbers and Bo Dallas as their leader would be better than any idea they have otherwise for most of the guys.

Camacho as dollar store Tama Tonga, Mojo Rawley as dollar store Karl Anderson, Big Cass as dollar store Fale, Enzo Amore as otherworld Yujiro, random big guy as Doc Gallows, and get two skinny dudes to play the Bucks.

                  Bo-llet Club.

Let's face it, Camacho isn't long for the roster and will be in the real BC soon enough.

[AJPW “Major Rumor” News] It is being heavily rumored that Jun Akiyama will be named the new president of “All Japan” as of July 1, 2014. Now why I have the All Japan is quotation marks is that there appears to be a major chance in the form of a re-branding of the promotion…or in other words the start of a whole new organization.

Some back-story to what has led to this point…
Nobuo Shiraishi purchases All Japan in All Japan. Then several months later in June of 2013, a power sway happens and Shiraishi names himself the new president of All Japan. Keiji Mutoh and the then former president Masayuki Uchida are completely unable to fight the change due to being in Canada with Sanada, and others, at the time. Mutoh doesn’t return to the promotion and this causes a mass exodus to occur by July 1st as more than half of the staff and roster leave All Japan to join Mutoh. Ever since then it has been a major struggle for Shiraishi to find the fan support that he needed to keep All Japan out of the red. No matter what All Japan would offer the problems would remain apparent. Even to the point where Motoko Baba, Giant Baba’s wife, would demand for the belts that her husband brought into the promotion being returned to the Baba family household. Shiraishi of course would also make it known of his plans to change some things around a bit, and that would cause more difference between the wrestlers and himself. A new president would be name earlier this year in Hirota Inoue, but that as would not change the fact of the damage that had already been done.

Well this brings up full circle to exactly 1 year later with the announcement that a new promotion is on the horizon and is set to potentially correct all the mistakes that have been a plague to All Japan. The well now “former” President of AJPW Hirota Inoue has not been fully active at his job for sometime and due to this he has stepped down from the position as of June 1st, a move made to try and dissociate Shiraishi from the main spotlight. But ultimately did not change anything.

It seems after plenty of deliberation that Akiyama will be leading the charge for a new promotion to be formed out of the ashes of what All Japan was founded upon. It appears, at this time, that all the championship belts currently used in All Japan will be moving to Akiyama’s new promotion. Suwama and Masanobu Fuchi appear to be in complete favor of this new change and will be following Akiyama.

The other rumored names of AJPW signed talent to be following Akiyama are as follows..
Akebono, Takao Omori, KENSO, Go Shiozaki, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Kotaro Suzuki, Atsushi Aoki, Kento Miyahara, SUSHI, and Naoya Nomura. All the freelance talent used as of late are expected to continue participating in the future as well.

There is also talk that Motoko Baba is also fully backing Akiyama’s plans to form a new promotion. Which she has shown nothing but contempt for what Shiraishi was trying to accomplish over the last year.

The very first major show of the new promotion is expected to be held on July 12 at the BODYMAKER COLOSSEUM in Osaka. As they will be carrying on with all the dates that have been announced by AJPW.

It shall be interesting to see how the fans might react to this major change, and if it will lead to the proper results that Akiyama desires.

Exodus of all but two men from All Japan to form NOAH

Exodus of "Burning" from NOAH to All Japan

Exodus of Mutoh & half the promotion from All Japan to form W-1

Exodus of the entire promotion from All Japan to form...All Japan?

All Japan needs to merge back with NOAH at this point. Both are on the verge of death anyway. Neither has any roster depth. Back to square one.

AJPW should go back to the strict King's Road style and ride or die with it.

Especially with New Japan doing North American shit and NOAH (where King's Road basically went with the first exodus) being insignificant. Exploit SUPER SERIOUS WRESTLING and see if it catches on.

Did the Splitters and the Bucks know they were on first, for a FREE match? Holy fuck what a good match they had at Dominion.

                                Insanely crisp and well done.
