So Champions League thoughts week 1.

Manchester City spend a billion on a dream team, and then come out at home with 3 fullbacks in the starting lineup. Wtf? Seriously? I mean..... Cmon!

Barca, are down, and yet still so good.

PSG..... Well lets be honest. This team is about Zlatan. Long been a favorite of mine. And still proving to the third best player in the world.

Milan. Who would have thought, Adel Tarrabt, not wanted by Fulham or QPR, starts for Milan and puts in a damn good showing. Milan did everything but score today, I think they will score just enough in Spain and make it through.

Then there is Arsenal....... Ohhhh Arsenal. Oh oh Arsenal. So good, but just as Arsenal does, find a way to lose. First of all Ozil, he looks like he could care less. I've never seen him like this. And that miss fucked his night up, and it showed. What a horrible pen anyway. It must be infuriating to be an Arsenal fan though. 11 v 11 I think a result was there. But, now they have to go Germany and attack. Which will be fun to watch at least.

And I know CJ will disagree, but I think Ox is Englands best young player. Bayern and Alaba couldnt handle him and all of Arsenals best moves come from him now.

But I think he is better than Raheem. Raheem reminds me too much of a young Aaron Lennon. Or that type of player at least.

        Flame away......

I think Ox is a good player but I think it's really hard to compare the two right now. Ox has been out injured for so long, and all Raheem has done is put up an average rating of 7.31 (according to Who Scored), which would make him the 4th highest rated player on Arsenal. Sterling has done incredibly well. Learning when to take on his man, and unlike Lennon, not play himself in trouble or down a blind alley. I'd also like to mention that Ox will be turning 21 this year, while Raheem only turned 19 last month. I'd also like to mention that Raheem's pass rate is 81% which for a 19 year old winger is incredibly high. He fits into the Liverpool attacking style like a hand in glove.

All incredibly valid points. I also thought Ox was a year younger. I should have pointed out too before saying, that Raheem would easily be the best winger at United, and is having a absolute killer season. My main point was, and it may be a bit unfair to Raheem, is that I dont know how he progresses from here. He has already made such a huge leap from last season to this season. But where does he go from here. How does he avoid being another Lennon, or SWP when he was 21, or a young Theo. I guess its just a stigma for the classic English wingers.

We have all been hearing about Raheem since he was 15. And to see him become this good so fast is fun.

But with that said, I have not seen Raheem enough, (so its incredibly possible he has) but have seen Ox play centrally. And that for me is the difference. After seeing Ox against Liverpool in the FA Cup, and to see him follow it up better vs Bayern. I just came away very impressed.

I honestly don't know if I should be crying, laughing, or breaking things.

I have never witnessed anything like that from that team. I've never felt embarrassed for a Manchester United team........ Well until tonight.

And to think, my dumbass rushed home to watch that shit.

Not even the first time he's played centrally tbh

Seriously though, Raheem is 2 years younger putting in motm performances week in week out for the 2nd placed team in the league, scoring goals and providing assists regularly, has played on both wings, up front, no 10, fullback and wingback this season but hey the Ox scored 2 playing deep vs Palace so he obviously gets the nod

Can't really ask for better match ups then these 4. Obviously Bayern will pound United.
