I don't know why I am having an issue picking this one. I easily want to say Chicago, but then I want to give Phoenix some small credit, and they are playing good right now.

Phoenix to get swept again? Probably not but Chicago will believe they can end the series decisively. Phoenix does well for a low-budget team, but lacks the star power to go deep.

People really do under value Phoenix a lot. They were in control of that game for the vast majority of it. Even I did in my pick, as I think Phoenix can actually take this series with last nights play.

Typical Blackhawk game. Get early lead, get shoved around for the next 2.5 periods, do nothing on the power play, lose in OT.

PHX D and Smith are stout. They remind me of the Kings, they can definitely win this series.

I actually can't wait for this game tonight. Phoenix gets no respect and no coverage, yet every year they make the playoffs, they are just fighting their asses off to try and win, and you have to give them that. Plus Mike Smith is a beast.

Another game, another sub par performance capped off with late game heroics pulled out of their asses.

Second time in two games. This team is EXTREMELY fortunate to be taking it into overtime.

Aaaaaaaand bang biscuit. What a bounce to Bickell for the winner. I just want to the the Hawks play a full game, and not have to go through all the tension and heart attack nonsense just to have a chance.

15 out of 20 in the 3rd period, they bossed the game. Crawford had a save to keep em in it, and then they got into OT. In OT, they bossed for most of the time again, but then Craw had another great save, then go down, work their asses off, get a good bounce and win it. But if they just play a complete fucking game, all this shit wouldnt be necessary.

Now, protect home ice, PHX cant be feeling good about what happened too. Should get good now from a Chicago standpoint.

It was almost a must-win for Chicago...it would have been a morale killer to tie up your second game in the waning seconds, only to lose it in OT.

Mike Smith should be given an Oscar for his acting performance, writhing in pain until the 5 minute major was announced over the PA system. I don't really understand the NHL's rules regarding goalie interference. Early in the game, Toews skates by the goal and shoots, and Mike Smith dives out of the crease into Toews' legs. Ref raises his hand for a penalty, and I think "thats odd...usually they don't call penalties on the goalie", but then the ref calls goalie interference on Toews! Is Toews a mind-reader and supposed to know when Smith is going to dive into his legs? This led to a Phoenix goal.

Then, later in the game, Smith comes out late to play the puck behind the net, Andy Shaw is also going for the puck, Shaw is as far away from Smith as possible skating up against the boards, then Smith collides with Shaw and goes down. 5 minute major, goalie interference, ejection, and this leads to another Phoenix goal.

Shaw took no effort to stop, slow down, move out of the way or anything. He just rammed right into Smith. If he would have tried something, bounced off the boards at least, he would have got a 2min and away from everything else. But he went straight into Smith and that is a no-no.

I didn't see the Toews call, so can't comment.

Such a horseshit turn of events. Torres takes a run at Hossa, leaves his feet and drives his shoulder into his head. Bollig comes to defend Hossa, grabs Torres and takes him down...Torres gets no penalty and Bollig gets a 2 minute minor and a 10 min game misconduct.

I don't know what Shanahan should do about Torres.

He is a repeat offender and has no respect for anybody out there. He is very dangerous out there on the ice. I don't know if a suspension is enough anymore.

Rafi better fucking be done in this years playoffs after what Shannahan gave Shaw. Another shit show though, bad skating , late passes, and soft goal to top it off. Now game 4 is a must win.
