We definitely came out flat in the 1st period, didn't expect Nashville to come out so fast, took half the game to adjust and we had some great chances but Renne made the saves, and Nashville held the lead.

I hope Weber gets suspended. Game two will be a lot closer I hope.

When asked why Weber did that last night he responded "he pushed me in the back first" He was then asked if he thought he should be suspended, he just shrugged it off and said "it's the playoffs"

Helm underwent successful surgery last night to repair lacerated tendons in his right forearm. He will miss the entire 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs, but should make a full recovery.

Shanahan said due to the fact that Weber hasnt had any fines or anything in over 2.5 years he saw no precedent to suspend him.

Barry Trotz was being a little homerish and said Shea didnt deserve a suspension but Bertuzzi did for punching Gastaud.
