2011 Re-Draft: JJ Watt or Von Miller?

Why would I be salty that a terrible oline let a player sack my teams QB and that a vastly better and more talented Broncos team beat them? And Cam was still the only pick they could take and still is the best QB from that draft and has plenty of potential, yeah he's a turd most times and needs to grow up but he has plenty of talent let's not forget about last year, this year hasn't been great or even good for him but that is usually the trend with young QBs...

So Von Miller wearing a club is = to or < than not starting any games and playing a fraction of the amount of snaps? Von Miller must be the first NFL player to ever play with a cast on right? I'm not trying to shit on the guy at all, he is an exceptional talent def would love for him to be on my team as would everybody else here, but that isn't the question, it is Von Miller vs JJ Watt, and then the question I was asked, and without hesitation any of those other players would be taken before Miller if I were the GM or coach.

You also have to look at this from the standpoint of where people are coming from and due to their respective teams. Philly for example has had bad LB play the past couple years, I can see a lot of Eagles fans leaning towards Miller and wishing he was there, but teams that already have decent LB's would lean towards the stud DE that controls the line of scrimmage.

If youre running a 3-4 a dominant end like Watt is a fucking gold mine. You can essentially do whatever the fuck you want with playcalling when you have an end capable of applying pressure. These guys are usually tree stumps and simply invaluable.

CBs arent worth much without at least another high tier across from him. WR ? dime a dozen in this league.

Second in the league in sacks
(.5 behind Watt) and first in the league with 11 TFL (for comparison's sake Aldon Smith has two)

Please give me the list of elite pass rushers you have without Von Miller on it so I can laugh at it.

And tackle numbers in Miller's case (and most cases, the tackle stat is misleading to say the least) are irrelevant since he's coming of the edge at least 70% of the time.

But for OOBL to ignore the fact that one guy has five times as many TFL this season, when both guys have gotten the same amount of run, as the other and still say you would take Smith is hilarious IMO.

Watt seems a bit more multi-faceted so I guess I would take him, but we are talking about two different types of players. Would depend on team needs and scheme, as they are both pretty "elite" at what they do.

Definitely Watt for Rex's scheme, i think Rex likes to push the pocket back and Miller wouldn't be as effective in our 3-4 scheme.

Watt...but they would ultimately be the #1 and #2 pick, regardless, in what was, a pretty stacked draft.
