Then again he threw those when his WR's stepped up..ok Mainly DA, and when his O finally decided to show up too... but also he played a very good agame against a Viking's team playing for HFA.

If he does nothing in those games or is terrible then people hold it against him and point it out and LULZ. But if he performs well it's written off. It can't be both ways.

Cutler was all the Bears had on offense this season. Good or bad. To argue otherwise just means you didn't watch the games.

Game winning drives against the Seahawks and Steelers. Even after playing a shitastic first half against GB in Week 1 played a great 2nd half and had his team up before the defense gave it up with under 2minutes to play. The first Detroit game he kept that offense moving when the D couldn't stop anyone and gave up his body for a TD in the 1st half. Yeah there were not a ton of bright spots but they were there...in spots. But I didn't see anything for me to question his leadership or competetivness. If those were issues he would have mailed it in as soon as the Bears were out of playoff contention.

Also a massive dsiclaimer to the season is he did have Ron Turner has his OC..so yeah...

Rose was a veteran who was what he was...I don't see the correlation there.

I see him more like Peyton Manning, people were questioning his ability after his first few years. Once they started surrounding him with talent, the expectations everyone originally had showed up.

Why is Jay Cutler not allowed to develop like other QB's? I have seen the good and bad with Cutler and IMO his good out ways his bad...Which I mostly attribute to his inexperience.

He looks more like Manning, Elway, and Farve at this point in his career then other scrubs that have played.
 
I'm not going to ever compare him to Manning, Elway or Favre. Those are rare, all-time greats. I think Cutler is solid though, once the Bears surround him with some decent talent he'll be a fine NFL QB.

There's no way I'm comparing him to Manning, Elway or Favre though. At least in Manning and Elway's case they came in with MUCH higher expectations. Both were unbelievable college players.

Lol? who was questioning Manning after the 99 season? The only questions that remained after his first few years were his post-season play
