Well Dream Theater has a nom so that's cool, but really no one outside the industry gives a fuck about the Grammys anymore, even people who watch it, watch it for performances.
 
Oh, and looking back at it, Kanye's first three albums were nominated for Album of the Year.

How the fuck does Graduation get an AOTY nomination back in the day and not MBDTF now? Horrendous.

It wasn't really well received here, that's why.

Even though I liked it, judging by my opinion of the quality of it, I wouldn't nominate it for a Grammy. But if it were in the running, I wouldn't be upset or dispute it.

But if you're talking about popular music, which is represented at the Grammys. There couldn't have been that many pop albums better then it...right?

If their competition is Bruno Mars, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga then I don't see why not.
 
While I think MBDTF is a bit overrated, it definitely deserved a nomination. The fact that it came out in 2010 might have hurt its chances a little (even if Rihanna's album still got a nom) but let's be real here...Adele's 21 is going to win AOTY.
