Barnes is not a good rebounder for a 6'8 guy, doesn't play good defense, has average athleticism, can go very well to his left, and doesn't have much of a handle
His bread and butter is a jumper in which he either dribbles once or twice or not at all
And even his shooting,for which he is acclaimed for, is not impressive(FG% wise) against good opponents
Barnes benefits alot from playing with Kendall Marshall(look at the few games he played without him) who can set him up in spots and with Roy's up tempo scheme, he can thrive
Barnes trying to create his own shot is pitiful to watch
Barnes isn't a terrible player by any means...but if he struggles with shooting and creating his own shot against good opponents in college, imagine the troubles he'll have against some of the best defenders in the world
NBA is way more iso-based than college, so in order to be a serious offensive threat in the NBA on the wing, it helps a little to have a handle
