True but he was never a guy who just played around the perimeter either. I mean Bosh is a pretty nice scorer inside why he refuses to attack the basket is beyond me.

I'm sure Kuzzy can confirm, but when Bosh was with the Raptors he did play in the post, but still had the ability to step out and take a mid-range jumpshot. However, with the way Wade and James play Bosh has gotten use to staying out of the paint to open up the lane and now just has become a catch and shoot PF. He has gotten use to playing like this and they laziness is hard to break.

I was in Excel and had a few minutes so I made a shot chart for Bosh. Here are his shot attempts at various locations. Gives you an idea how much his game has changed since 2007.

As you can see his At-Rim attempts have fallen off a cliff. Otherwise, he's stayed relatively consistent outside of just taking far MORE attempts at everything in 2009-2010.

Once he got to Miami in 2011, he completely stopped going to the rim and hasn't really ever returned. Also not a surprise that his best season (2009-2010) saw him take far less long twos and way more attempts at the rim and closer to the basket.

I guess my memory of Bosh in Toronto so much wasn't him as a true back to the basket guy but a player who could step out in the 10-15 foot range, but the ball on the floor if need be and get to the rim or hit that face up jumper. What would help more is Lebron James demanding the basketball or Spoelstra demanding that he have the ball. It was astonishing to see last night Chalmers chucking up threes from the corner off the side of the back board in critical minutes while James stood out beyond the 3 pt and didn't touch the ball the entire shot clock.

18 pts isn't going to get it done. I don't care how many other areas of the game you fill with stats. LeBron has got to score big for Miami to win. 75% of the time the players' team with the triple double won. LeBron is on the wrong end of that stat for not taking advantage of an open lane and kicking it out to a shooter.

It wasn't on the coach, LeBron was gassed and told his coach he had to take a breather. That is where the 7 game series the Heat just finished caught up to them. The funny thing was when the Heat put LeBron on Parker....Parker responded by running laps around the court and in and out of tight spots where LeBron's size worked against him.

I'm not saying he shouldn't do all the other things that "his game" is about. I'm saying take over as a scorer and the rest will fall into place. LeBron averaged 39-8-8 with pre-injury Dwight Howard in the paint in 2009. He can handle taking it to the hoop a few times against Old Man River Walk.

Do you already have tickets? Me and some friends were looking on Friday night and it was like $300 to get in the door. I know it will be cheaper to just show up and see what is available in the lot but that is risky sometimes.
