-I'd be hesitant on taking Nerlens Noel #1...there are safer prospects and I don't think Noel's ceiling is that high. I think he can be a solid shot blocker-rebounder, but he's limited on offense and will probably always be. I think he's also got to gain a lot of weight. He's what...200 pounds? You don't see too many 200 pound paint defenders in the NBA.
-Ben McLemore is going to be a good player. He can shoot lights out. Also a really good athlete. He needs to get his mind right a little bit, but I see a good NBA player. His demeanor must be really off-putting because he looks like a really good fit for Cleveland. I also think if you're Orlando, and you feel confident in that Eric Bledsoe trade, having a starting 1-2 of Eric Bledsoe and Ben McLemore is a nice, fresh start post-Dwight.
-Cody Zeller is a damn good player and underrated. He may not be a paint enforcer, but he can score on the inside and that's a valuable trait. He needs to get used to the rigors of the NBA and get used to finishing through contact, but he can play. You know who else is kind of soft but is great as an inside scorer...Brook Lopez.
-Otto Porter is a really safe player, and I think he'll play in the league for 10+ years. Might not be a regular All-Star, but he's safe and will contribute everywhere he goes. The same goes for Victor Oladipo.
-The back end of the first round has a ton of really interesting prospects. Tim Hardaway Jr., Glen Rice Jr. Tony Snell, Sergey Karasev (probably going higher at this point), Shabazz Muhammad (seeing him projected in the 20's). They all can play and can fill roles with teams.
-At the back end of the first round and even in the second round...I look for guys with + abilities. Allen Crabbe can shoot. Gorgui Deng can protect the rim. Jeff Withey can protect the rim and block shots. Andre Roberson and Trevor Mbakwe can rebound. Always nice sleepers because if a team needs that skill, they'll find a home.
-Random sleeper that I like for no reason...Alex Abrines. Not a starter, but a nice backup shooter on the wing.
