well; there really isnt a team that is a dominating force in the NFC or AFC.
all we see are a teams that are "HOT" right now and this type of game play is what helped the Giants beat the Patriots.....2x.
But
i am a believer in momentum, home field advantage and defense for post season.
problem with this game is neither team hasnt been playing "great defense".....

Peterson went for over 200 in both games vs the Pack this season. I dont see any reason he wouldnt be able to have a good game this weekend with GB being a middle of the pack defense.
 
Rooting for the Vikings for several reasons but I don't think they will be able to pull it off. It's just really hard for a run first (and second) team to beat an elite passing team in this day and age, even if they do have one of the best running backs of all time.

no, the fact is they knew the possibilities of who they would face and I assume they held quite a bit back in the last game. The GB defense is still suspect but the offense should have a few more wrinkles and twists coming. GB should still be very bitter about last year.....
 
They put up 34 points last week so IDK how much more they can do on offense. Them winning will lie on the defenses shoulders. AP being able to control the clock is the best case scenario for Minny.
 
It's simple, really.

Last week the Packers' first three possessions all resulted in punts. You can't afford to do that against a team with Adrian Peterson in the backfield. If the Packers can score early they will win this game.
 
As much as I'd love to see the Vikings win, I just can't see them winning this game, but anything is possible. Hopefully Peterson has another monster game.

AP is the Vikings and he hasnt been stopped in or outdoors. That kind of weather benefits the running team, always.

Rodgers numbers, as well as the Packers record gets better as the weather gets colder. Packers have a history of better winning percentages as the weather gets cold.

i agree wirh AP is Vikings but
this is the playoffs tho....

regular season over and homefield will playout as usual in post season.
i actually want the vikings to win but this is going to be hard to do in Packerville.
