Solid job by the Packers tonight. Next week will be a bigger test against the 49er's but I still see the Packers winning by 7 if their defense shows up.

Maybe it was 2 division teams familiar with each other. But the Pack should have wiped the floor with the Vikes. Because they played a team that had nothing, its hard to tell if the Pack is any good.

The odds may be good against a QB that still has no real/true clue what he's doing. As good as Kaepernick is, he's still a rookie for all intents and purposes, in a playoff game.

Right, because Ponder was declared inactive TWO hours before kickoff.. thus it was so easy to find an alternative.

If anything this just shows how important a good backup QB is in the NFL. Having a guy who hadn't thrown a pass in a year step in in the playoffs is probably not the most ideal situation for a team.

LOL 3 teams are starting rookie QBs in the playoffs. Rookies are essentially back ups. It shows how low the quality of play has gotten but it has to be tolerated regardless because thats somewhat of a normality now.

he is a professional fucking QB. the guy cant throw the ball to a wide open WR 5 yards away? back up or not he is a fucking joke. And it wouldnt surprise me at all if the vikings withheld the the fact that Ponder wasnt going to start. but like it really matters. Ponder is a joke too.

try and follow along people. These are first year players, they have no experience at all. They are learning while on the job instead of being trained properly before being thrown out there.

theres no way in hell you get 3 prodigies in one year in one shot. They end up looking good because league wide no one is that good to begin with. They are succeeding because the bar has been lowered league wide. Not because they are that much better then everyone else. Sure they have talent and may not suck. But they arent as good as you want to believe.

Yes, I know all the ignorant 20 somethings will poopoo my evaluation because they think anyone can do anything without really evaluating anything. But over time will realize i'm correct.

Plus their style of play would have gotten them killed 20 years ago.

there is not a dominant team out there now..........too much parity and has been that way for awhile in the NFL.
its not any Rookies fault that they "look good" in the NFL. some teams simply stink, rebuilding, etc.....
not to mention injuries have played a factor on any team's season.

RGIII is no more a fraud than Luck, Wilson, Morris or any other Rookie that is playing well. they all have job to do and they are doing it.

and it takes a special kind of character to be able to "step up and rise to the occasion".....not everybody can do those things......

just trying to make a point about the Rookie stars this year. i think they all doing a great job.......sadly; one of the 2 is going home (Wilson/RGIII) and the other is at the Mercy of a tough home Ravens team.

i was little shocked about them pulling Ponder out. i dont think anybody had a clue that he was that Injured not to play 2 hours before game time.
tough spot for Webb but i wouldnt pin that loss on him.

wow what a horrible statement. so it didn't matter he avg almost 5 yards a carry? it didn't matter he faced a team that he faced just 6 days before and they got one of their best tackling db's back (that was the biggest reason he had as many yards against the pack in those 2 games, he got outside and the cb's and safeties couldn't tackle, woodson and the rest of the secondary made sure he was forced to run inside the tackles)

it also didn't matter they were down 17-3 at half then 24-3 to start the 3rd. it takes peterson out of the game like that. add in a back up qb who after the first couple series showed he couldn't complete a pass to save his life, while throwing to wideout's that scare no one and i'm suprised peterson didn't end up with even less yards then he had.
